Chapter 18

Alicio's POV

I'm walking down the hall towards the restaurant when I see two men in uniform go towards the elevators. They didn't have an U.S flag sewn into it so I know it's definitely not Allegra's men. It's probably Leo setting us up.

Or not..... I look across the room to see him eating with Octavia. Where is Allegra?

Walking, well limping towards Octavia and Leo I pop the question.

"Ninth floor, they were walking towards a gym" Leo says with a mouth full.

"Who are they?" Octavia stops eating and stares him down.

"Uhh." He swallows quickly but composes himself with a smile. "There was this guard. He was confused about his room and Allegra said she would help him. Don't wait up for her though she said she had stuff to do after that" He looks back down at his plate and continues eating.

He's lying. I can see it but clearly Octavia doesn't because she shrugs and continues eating as well.

I eye him one more time before walking to the elevators and going up to the ninth floor. I first walk into the gym seeing no one there and as I come out I hear a door close.

Sneaking behind the wall I peak around the corner to see Allegra unconscious in someone's arms. He's holding her with care, but I don't recognize him and can't see his face. I watch as he enters the elevator and watch the numbers go up to the fifteenth floor.

I can go after her..... Or I can go in the room he came out of just now and that's exactly what I do. I see her combat boots scattered on the floor. Nothing looks broken except for the crack on the inside of this door. I walk further in the room seeing torn underwear, gum wrappers, two black bags in the corner and guns on the floor under the chairs. I turn around and close the door behind me, getting into the elevator and pressing the fifteenth floor.

The air is colder and I prepare myself in case I need to fight. The painkillers helped a lot but I'm sure that one hit will get me feeling my injury again.

As the elevator doors open I walk towards the door at the end of the hall.

"Name and ID?" A voice shouts from behind me. I turn around to see a gun pointed at my face.

"I suggest you lower your weapon since I am superior to you. Secondly, I came for my sister" I cross my arms over my chest as the man lowers his gun and mumbles some words through his walkie-talkie.

A few seconds later he pauses before throwing a punch at me. Dodging it I use my right leg to kick him into a wall when two other men appear. I throw the first one into the mirror and punch the second guy in the throat before the man from earlier tazes me.

"Ok that shit hurts". I grumble.

The man then drags me to the door at the end of the hall and throws me in. I glare at him angrily with my chest heaving up and down trying to catch a good breath of air.

"Who is this?"A deep voice sounds from my left and I finally look at two guys standing in the hallway staring at me, one of them being the guy from earlier who took my sister.

Vince's POV

As the boy looks toward us my mouth drops open and Rome slaps my arm multiple times.

"Dude, are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Disbelief coating his voice.

"That's impossible.... Did Allegra have a twin brother who happens to be alive?" I mumble the words as the curly haired boy stands up.

"No fucking way" Ace shouts and starts laughing. He enters the room in only sweats as he stares at the now standing boy.

"Why are you all looking at me like that? " The boy finally opens his mouth and the irritation fills his voice.

I turn my gaze towards the guard. "Why did you bring him here?"

"He came up unauthorized. He said something about how he saw someone take his sister and fought three of us at once to try to get here. And did it injured no less." The guard states and I swipe my hand at him wordlessly telling him to leave.

"We don't have your sister. Assuming that you aren't lying because you definitely look like someone we know, who is your sister?" Ace is having way too much fun with this.

"You're LYING". He shouts. "I saw him take her and I won't stop until I get her back safely" He shouts again pointing directly at me.

Confusion fills Ace's eyes and I palm my face in irritation.

"Well shit" Rome laughs and looks toward Ace before Ace looks toward the room behind us and starts laughing hysterically catching on to the situation.

"Roman how the fuck did you two land yourselves in this situation" Ace says breathlessly and continues to laugh holding his stomach.

"Roman? As in Roman Lumonov? I fucking knew Leo was working with the bad guys" The boys spits getting more angry.

"Leo? As in Leo Neville?" Rome leans further on the wall. "We did business once so I wouldn't say he is working with us. Just a business partner along the way".

I have no idea who Rome has done business with. He dealt with all the deals and I planned everything and dealt with all the missions.

"Stop lying. It's no coincidence that you did business with Malachi. The same man that kidnapped my whole family and I. The same man that hurt my sister and now you took her from us" His eyes desperately look at Rome but we ignore his accusations.

"So what you are saying is..... Your family is alive? Everyone? And this Leo guy who was with your sister helped with abducting you all?" I raise my eyebrow remembering Allegra laughing with him comfortably.

He nods and I sigh. "So that must make you... what was his name again? Alicio?" He nods again and Rome pauses a second before changing the topic.

"What do you mean Malachi hurt her?" I go quiet also waiting for an answer and so does Ace.

"During the month we were captured, I was tortured and so was my dad. My sister had a miscarriage and so did my mother. My mother was also assaulted and I'm guessing that when Allegra told me that he hurt her too that's what she meant. So sorry if I don't trust you and want to protect her". That's when It clicked for me.

Octavia called Roman a few days ago saying that Allegra was kidnapped. Then today she panicked and said it was too soon after I touched her. Malachi is the person who hurt her. Or maybe it was someone who was in the same circle.

"Listen here you accusing ass rat. Your sister is sleeping in that room and by the looks of it she hasn't had a good night's sleep in weeks. I'm not going to hurt her but your dumbass made it known to the whole floor that one of us brought a girl up here. Secondly, I don't want to hear your sob ass story. I just want the name of the man who hurt her and his location so I can kill him. Your sister will come to you when she is awake and ready to leave." I roll my eyes and Rome cracks up a bit.

"Rome get the name and location from him and makes sure he leaves." He nods as Ace and I go back into the room where Allegra is. I sit against the wall and Ace sits on the chair next to her. We agreed to let her sleep for another two hours before we woke her up. She needs it.

So Alicio does care... Awwwww. And turns out Vince, Ace and Roman don't want Allegra dead. Maybe they could work something out? Probably not though.
