Octavia's POV

My gaze followed Allegra's body as she got up to close her room door and lock it. She does it so Sharon....well my mom doesn't intrude or wake her up for unnecessary reasons.

She then stops at her desk taking the brown contacts in her eyes placing it next to her grey ones. She then proceeds to take off her white button up blouse tossing it into the hamper next to her desk. Some of her brown curls drop loose from her messy bun and I study the bruises I left on her during practice.

I kind of wish it was from-. Octavia stop it. You can't think like that, she's practically your sister and she doesn't even like girls. At least I dont think she does.

Gosh, I'm staring at her ass now.

I slide off the bed taking off my clothes and searching her drawers for something to sleep in. I choose a camisole and shorts while Allegra slips into an oversized t-shirt.

Does she have on a bra? When did she even take it off?

OCTAVIA. STOP IT. CAN YOU STOP BEING A FULL ON LESBO FOR HALF A SECOND.

I sigh in frustration.

"You okay?" She smiles at me, turning the T.V on and the lights off.

"Yeah... I'm okay. Just having a hard time controlling my thoughts."

She nods at me and jumps in her bed pulling me with her. We both snuggle under the large blanket and watch T.V together.

A few hours later I noticed that Allegra had fallen asleep and I took that time to study her. Her full eyelashes look cute on her. And the way her lips slightly part when she sleeps.

Did you know she also moans in her sleep? Whenever she moves a little she does it. She shifts again closer to me and her hair falls over her face.

I move it gently and tuck it behind her ear. I then move my face close to hers and move upwards kissing her forehead and whispering goodnight before turning off the T.V and falling asleep myself.

*the next morning*

I sneak out of bed carefully and exit Allegra's bedroom before I sneak down the hall into Sharon's room.

I shake her harshly with a smirk. "Wake up you old witch" I whisper in her ear.

"Fuck off will you?" She mumbles, turning away from me.

"It's Allegra's twenty-first birthday mom."

She suddenly springs awake and tumbles out of bed cursing as she sprints down the hall and down the stairs into the kitchen.

I roll my eyes running into my room to get Allegra's gift. I hold the sleeping puppy and place it in the box carefully carrying it into her room. I put the box by her closet door and jump on top of her sleeping form.

She groans and mumbles "Fuck off will you?".

"Gosh you're just like mom" I say jokingly and I feel her noticeably stiffen under me.

She sits up quickly looking around as if she just lost the crown of England.

She curses under her breath, lets out a small breath of relief and lays back down.

"Uhh, what just happened Al? Why did it look like you panicked for a sec?" I move off of her and pull her to the edge of the bed.

"Well.....I did. I had a dejavú moment. I remember you being on top of me and saying those exact words and then someone tried to kill me. So I was making sure no one was holding a knife in the corners of my room." Her words come out sarcastically but I know she's serious. I bring the box from her desk into her lap and tell her happy birthday.

She opens the box and lifts the puppy screaming in excitement and in the process startling the puppy and making it wiggle in her arms. She puts the Maltese in her bed and squeezes me tightly kissing me all over my face until she stops above my lips and gives me a quick peck.

My whole body freezes and I feel my cheeks turn a shade of pink.

"You're my wife now" She winked at me. "You got me my first puppy and now I love you forever,'' she says, turning away from me to focus all her attention on the dog.

I smile and walk out the room and head downstairs to help make breakfast.

Maybe if I buy her another dog she will kiss me again? Ughh, Octavia you're getting desperate.

I grab a glass of water and drink it down in one gulp.

"What's wrong with you?" Mom asks.

"Just thinking about Allegra and how...." I pause unsure whether to tell her or not.

"And how utterly in love you are with her?" Sharon mumbled and I turned towards her quickly.

"Don't act surprised, I've raised you since you were ten years old. You are nineteen years old now Via, you're old enough to know that she has no interest in dating females. You should also be smart enough to not form any attachment to her considering your jobs."

I nod in agreement groaning in frustration. "I'm not in love with her... I just...feel weird with her" I mumbled quietly as I started making breakfast.

"Right"

I gave Sharon a look of warning before I continued making the breakfast. Too many things were on my mind. I felt guilty for trying to move on from Ace, with his best friend no less.

But he's dead now and as much as I told Allegra I hated her for killing him, I don't blame her. She didn't push him over that bridge, he jumped.

I still have no idea why she killed Ashley though. Ashley and I were never that close, but we were supposed to be a family. After Al killed her, everything went downhill.

I almost left with Vince and Roman after that, but so decided I was more useful here. That and I didn't want to become wanted in all fifty two states and eight other countries.

Rossi came down passing by me quietly, his brown skin a bit darker from spending so much time in the sun.

Sometimes I get jealous of him, if I spent as much time in the sun as he did I would be red with a horrible sunburn and no one needs to see a red version of me.

His locks were neatly tied back at the nape of his neck and his suit was impeccably straight, the crease of his pant legs sharp as usual.

His gloved hands opened the fridge in an elegant manor and I wondered.... why would he be a butler of all things. Mr. Rossi was handsome enough to be a model, well poised and a straight posture.

He was also the only father figure I had in my life.

With a small sigh I turned back to the breakfast I was making, finishing up just as Allegra walked down the stairs.
