Leo's POV

I watch as Allegra's body falls limp to the ground and I rush to her side immediately. I look back up at Sharon with worry on my face.

"What did you do?" I frantically tap her cheek asking her to stay awake but she quickly slips into unconsciousness.

"Listen up and make sure you quote me word for word. You have a good memory don't you?" I nod slowly, pulling Allegra into my lap.

"As soon as she came into my custody I implanted an electrical short circuit that doesn't go off with metal detectors. I knew she would be the most powerful and I would have trouble if she defected from my guidance. She will do what I say because if it shocks her for more than a minute she will die" I can look in her eyes and see she isn't bluffing. She would kill Allegra.

She steps towards me and stops bending down to my height.

"Imagine if I shock her while she is in battle or swimming in water? She would definitely die then. With a simple press of a button or a phone call she will fall". She winks at me then walks off down the hall.

I pick Allegra up in bridal style and carry her down the hall to her room. I caught her butler Mr. Rossi frowning upon her appearance.

Laying her down on the bed I notice her low pulse. She is barely breathing. Her pale face drops to the side and her chest barely moves to breathe. Mr. Rossi quickly follows and in seeing her state he calls her doctor.

Living here with Allegra for the past four months really gave me insight on why she is the way she is. She has freedom but not when it comes to her job. They encourage killing, manipulation, torture. They encourage invasion of privacy and lying.

I can see in her eyes that she loves it. She thrives off it. She just hates the fact that she is forced to do it all the time. This woman has changed me because I'm starting to love it too.

The adrenaline from each fight, the feeling knowing that you are stronger than your opponent. She was teaching me what it felt to have control, how it felt to have power. And I loved it.

I found out the truth about Vince and Roman. I tried to tell Allegra that she should apologize for blaming them but she acted as if she didn't care. I know deep down she feels bad but her hate for Octavia is enough to keep her from ever talking to them again.

I watched her lose the meaning of being a hero. She is nothing of the sort.

Holding her hand I sit on the edge of the bed as her doctor gives her oxygen.

I thought our only problem was stopping Vince and whoever his secret boss is, but this killing machine implanted in Allegra is an even bigger issue.

I don't want her to die, I refuse to lose her too. I will do anything to keep her safe, even if I must go behind her back to do it.

Vince's POV

"Octavia can you leave Ace alone for like five minutes so I can focus on hacking security cameras at Sharon's base. We need that flashdrive and I need to know how many guards are there and when they change shifts." Roman mumbles as she finally moves back and slides off of Ace's lap.

"Are you nervous? Just because Allegra might be there doesn't mean she will get in the way of the plan." Ace fixes his pants to hide the boner Via just gave him.

I scrunch up my nose in disgust before looking away. The last thing I want to see is his dick.

"Did you forget how she shot me? That shit hurt" she frowns and Roman freezes then frantically taps on his computer.
