Chapter 26

Leo's POV

I watched quietly as she fell asleep on my chest. She had moaned a little every time she shifted. I rub her back gently. Her back. Where that stupid circuit is.

All I want to do is save her.

Getting up gently so as not to wake her I go into my room and contact Vince to go over our plan.

I was going to tell Sharon that I'm taking Allegra on a date but that wasn't a good plan. I'll give Vince the signal to attack the base blowing it up and me and Allegra will escape and head to a Chicago doctor.

I have already packed a bag and Mr. Rossi is helping us. He has a safe house off of the grid and that's where Allegra will recover from her surgery. He will stay with us until we all meet up with Vince and we will stay at their compound.

Then in less than a month they will have achieved their goal of world domination.

Easy enough right? Or that's what I thought. Little did I know that the real war would be in our circle.

"Leo?" I hear her voice before I see her. Tossing the burner phone on the couch in the corner I turn around and smile at her. She rubs her eyes and my T-shirt balls up around her waist exposing her underwear.

"Hey, why are you up? It's late" I ask her quietly, making my way towards her.

I pull her by her waist pulling down the shirt past her hips and she leans into my body resting her head on my chest.

"I woke up and you were gone. I couldn't sleep without you" she mumbles groggily.

I didn't notice how long I had been gone. It had been over an hour.

"I'm sorry, I had to check on something. Let's get you back to bed hmm" her arms circle my waist as she shakes her head.

"Can we sleep in here? It smells more like you" I smile at her.

"Ok get comfortable, I'll close the door and turn off the lights" I told her. She nods heading to my bed. I close the door, locking it just in case Sharon decides to pop up. I then turn off the lights and lay next to Allegra.

"I love..." she pauses her sentence and I already know what she is going to say.

"What? I didn't hear you" I turn towards her and she shakes her head. I don't want her to be embarrassed. Besides, I plan on saying it first.

"Nothing, I was just thinking out loud." She mumbles before leaning her body further into mine. Soon after she falls asleep in my arms and so do I. Drifting off I dream about our plan for tomorrow.

I should've told her by now but I know she would talk me out of it.

Allegra. I just want you safe.

Roman's POV

Vince gave me the rundown for saving Amelia, then Allegra. In the morning we would storm the compound that has her and we would also attack Sharon's compound causing them to evacuate to different locations.

Since they will have to take a flight to Chicago, Illinois they need to leave early. We both agreed that if Leo claimed he was taking her on a date she would keep tabs on them. And going on one isn't ideal in our current situation. So this was the best plan.

So that's what we do. We will send our men to attack in an hour then Vince and I will storm the compound with Amelia, with some of our men. Ace and Octavia will get Ashley and Allegra's family then meet us at the rendezvous point.

After that Vince and Ace will go to the doctor where Leo and Allegra are and bring them back where everyone else. Alicio and his family are already on a plane from Russia to Switzerland. After we are all together then we will come up with the final plan.

It's dangerous to make these plans over the phone, but there is only so much we can do for quick and efficient communication.

It seems too easy though. It was too easy to get my hands on this kind of information, too easy for us to infiltrate them.

Or maybe they're just that dumb, maybe they wanted this to happen, but I won't underestimate them.

I will never underestimate them.
