So Sharon is a really sneaky woman isn't she? And putting a kill switch in a twelve year old? DEPLORABLE.

Anyway, so who do you think this secret boss is? And how will Allegra get the Electrical circuit out?

Allegra's POV

I wake up slowly and my whole body is sore. I try to move my hands but my left hand doesn't work. Looking to the side I realize that Leo is holding my hand and has fallen asleep on the side of the bed.

I smile as I notice Mr. Rossi asleep on the other side of me. Turns out he is on my side. He gives me intel on things Sharon has planned and I thank him each time. He may be my butler but he is also one of the only father figures I have ever had.

Nudging Leo with my hand he sits up quickly and rubs his eyes. It's times like these where I can see the little kid in him.

His gaze focuses on me and he holds my face gently turning it towards him.

"Hi, are you okay? Does anything hurt? Do you need anything?" His voice is soft and I smile again. I look at his tangled and messy black hair. His grey eyes look more blue and he stares at me intently.

Opening my mouth to speak nothing comes out. It hurts to speak and even more to breathe.

"Hey, stop, don't. Don't speak. Drink this, slowly. It might burn going down" he warns, helping me sit up and handing me a cup of light brown liquid .

Drinking the cold liquid I notice the minty taste that soon turns gingery. He then puts the cup back onto my dresser when I finish it. I still can't talk so I motion towards the notebook on my desk and he brings it back with a pen.

"What happened? I don't remember anything past arguing with Sharon." I write the words as best as I can, wincing at the pain in my wrist.

Handing the purple notebook to him he reads the words and frowns at it.

"You don't remember anything at all?" He repeats and I shake my head softly.

He then sighs before telling me everything. "As soon as I walked in the room she electrocuted you. She implanted an electrical short circuit that doesn't go off with metal detectors inside you when she got custody of you. That's why no one ever knew about it. It's practically undetectable. She knew you would be the most powerful and that she would have trouble if you defected from her guidance. She said that you will do what she says because if it shocks you for more than a minute you will die".

My eyes have only one emotion in them after his revelation. Anger.

"I looked in her eyes and saw she wasn't bluffing. She would kill you with a simple press of a button or a phone call". I nod in understanding before looking over to my butler that stayed quiet during our conversation.

"Ex.....Ray" I manage to get the word out and Mr. Rossi nods leaving the room to probably contact a hospital other than our private one. My own voice shocks me. It's rough and hoarse.

Pushing through the soreness I push the blanket off of me and slide out of the bed trying my best to stand. My thighs go weak instantly causing my body to fall and Leo holds my body up trying his best not to hurt my sore muscles.

"Thank....you" I mumble. He just nods with a frown.

I need to recover, and quickly. In this state I can't defend myself like this. I can barely move, let alone put up a fight.

Mr. Rossi comes back and helps me outside into a car before driving me to a different hospital where I can get a private x-ray.

Turns out that bitch put it in my spine. Now I can't just rip the shit out. If it was in my arm or leg I could've gotten it myself, and she knew that. She just had to go and make things difficult.
