"Oh no. Oh no. Oh no, no, no, no, no," RedRunner murmured.
"Oh yes, yes, yes, yes, yes," Mamba confirmed, filing his claws. How could Flint have met a girl and fallen for her so soon!? ON THE FIRST DAMN DAY, NONETHELESS, RedRunner's mind grumbled.
"Well, thanks for the information," he sighed, face-taloning.
"Anytime," Mamba yawned, flying away toward a rabbit hole.
RedRunner leapt into the air, flying around above looking around for his brother. He found Flint ambling around the edge of the field where the underbrush and trees were growing.
He soared over to Flint, surprised at the longing, dazed expression on his face.
"Flint..?" RedRunner asked, seeming to snap his brother out of some kind of trance. "Huh?" Flint asked, shaking his head and flaring his wings.
"Bro, you are so distant!" RedRunner complained. Flint flicked his tail.
"I also heard you met a girl," RedRunner added in a hiss.
"Oh, you mean Empyrean. She's amazing.." Flint said, voice dreamy. RedRunner scrunched his snout in partial anger. WHAT HAS THAT MANIAC SKYWING DRAGONET DONE TO MY TWIN BROTHER?! his mind roared.
"Oh no you don't! No brother of mine is going googley eyed at a random dragon!" RedRunner protested, grabbing Flint's helmet and shaking him.
"But she's not random! She's the prettiest, most awesome dragon in the whole school!" Flint protested, huffing, and tearing out of his brother's grip. RedRunner sighed. There was no convincing Flint when he had set his mind on something, especially what dragons he chose to be fond of. RedRunner's brother was a good judge of character, but RedRunner wasn't sure about this. How could any dragon meet and fall for a dragon in that short of a time span? It just wasn't dragonly possible to in one day. ON THE FIRST. DAMN. DAY, NONETHELESS, his mind screamed.
"Fine, but be careful, I don't trust her..."RedRunner growled, flying away again.
"You should!" he heard Flint call after him. RedRunner sighed, shaking his head. I doubt that...
