RedRunner narrowed his eyes in anger. Oh hell naw, he thought, grabbing a random stone on the ground. Still hiding behind one of the enormous doors down to the dungeon, the scarlet SkyWing glared at the two dragons who were trying to drag his brother away.

"You gals have really outdone yourselves," he said, hiding the rock behind his back, changing the plan in his mind. Their heads whipped around to stare at him. They froze.

"How about a light-hearted joke to celebrate? Knock knock," he offered.

"Who's there?" Empyrean asked joyfully. The RainWing stayed silent, staring at him with eyes rimmed with distrust.

"Watch," he continued. The tips of her frills began to turn slightly orange.

"Watch who?" Empyrean questioned proudly. RedRunner smirked.

"You better watch yo' back!" he hissed, lunging at them and bashing them in the head with the rock, knocking them out. They fell limply to the hard floor. RedRunner dropped the rock and quickly dragged his brother down toward the infirmary before the two crazy females could wake up.

"Flint? Flint, wake up!" RedRunner insisted, tapping his brother's dark helmet.

"He's out cold.." Feather commented. RedRunner frowned. Mako couldn't help either since he had run off somewhere for some other reason.

"MAKO! You need to come to the throne room NOW! It's a medical emergency!!" Scorch had screamed. After that, Mako darted off with him, leaving RedRunner and Feather alone. Flint groaned, snapping RedRunner out of his thoughts.

"Wh.. what happened?" he asked, sitting up while rubbing his head.

"I saved you from two crazy fangirls," RedRunner replied, sounding cool as hell (in his opinion..). Flint gave him a weird look.

"Wait, WHERE'S QUEEN ANARCHY?!" Flint cried, jolting up. RedRunner shrugged. The Firescales leaped up and bolted out of the infirmary. The scarlet SkyWing blinked.

"I wonder what happened to Queen Anarchy to make Flint act so protective.." Feather murmured with concern.

"That must've been what Mako was going to check on," he realized. Feather nodded with a surprised expression. She then silently turned her head to look back at their egg, which was in her lap.

RedRunner looked up at her, walking over and placing his talon on the smooth, white shell.

It really wasn't that early to have a dragonet... Dragons reached adulthood at age eight. Feather was ten and.. RedRunner was already twelve. Besides.. they were officially engaged now! Feather had said yes and everything has gone perfectly.

Feather smiled at him, pulling her wings in toward them. RedRunner smiled back, kissing her on the lips before heading out of the infirmary after Flint to see what all of the commotion in the throne room was about.
