One of the guards carelessly tossed a bowl of what looked like slop at all of them, unlocking the front part of their muzzles so they could eat. Admiral Kenobi was strongly against eating it, but his stomach was edged with pain from hunger already.
"I suggest you eat. We don't want you dying before we kill you," the guard growled. The Admiral had discovered that the group of guards that were guarding them were rouge SkyWing guards and the two masterminds of this operation's family members. So they are all evil, he concluded.
Admiral Kenobi sighed. He looked down at the slop and began gulping it down. It was moderately tasteless, with a kind of musty feel. When he was done with it, he felt almost as empty as before.
The guards quickly locked the muzzles again. This prevented him from doing what he wanted to do most at the moment: talk to Pink-Lemonade. He let out another sad sigh, smoke billowing out of the holes in the muzzle.
While he was lying there miserably, loud protests could be heard from down the hall. The Admiral perked his ears.
"Wait no you've got the wrong dragon! I'm not the one you want!"
Admiral Kenobi let out a hiss. He recognized that voice. It was Empyrean.
The roars became closer still until three dragons entered the "prisoner room", as the guards had called it. Pink-Lemonade and Feather widened their eyes at the glossy, vermillion-magenta SkyWing in that very room.
"Please, I- I can help y-your cause!" she shrieked as they pushed her to the nearest set of chains. It was the one on the other side of Admiral Kenobi.
"Shut up," the guard growled. Empyrean snapped her snout shut. Another guard locked the chains on her wrists, ankles, and neck, and then shoved a muzzle that looked like all of the rest of their muzzles on Empyrean's snout. She let out a whimper of pain.
Pink-Lemonade and Feather behind him seemed inquisitive of the dragon from school they hadn't seen for such a long time. Of course they couldn't ask any questions, so they eventually had to go back to doing nothing.
The Admiral kept switching between dosing and conscious. In one of his more "awake" moments, he heard noise approaching through the hall and snapped to attention, as he'd been trained to do.
The two dragons were coming back. Admiral Kenobi heard the heavy talon steps of an older dragon, and lighter ones right beside it. The other three woke up as the masterminds entered the room.
The red SkyWing stopped at Empyrean, turning to glare at her. The golden one did the same.
"You," he rumbled, pointing a sharpened claw as Empyrean, "Talk." Empyrean gave him a dumbfounded look before pointing at her muzzle. The red SkyWing gave her a furious look before violently slashing the muzzle. Empyrean flinched back, and the muzzle fell off in pieces.
Empyrean chuckled nervously and cleared her throat.
"So I've heard you're trying to get revenge on Flint," she said slyly. The two SkyWings said nothing, but their eyes glittered dangerously.
"Well.. I can help you. I have beef against Flint as well." Admiral Kenobi recoiled with disgust and disbelief. What? Just a few hours ago, she tried to kidnap him, and now she hates him?!
"How can I trust you?" the massive SkyWing hissed. Empyrean stood her ground, her expression hard.
"I'll offer you something that you can use that I've been using to spy on certain dragons," she offered, dawning a wicked grin. No.. the Admiral thought, eyes widening.
She took out a smooth, black rock, whispering something to it, then breathing a plume of fire onto it. The Obsidian Mirror! From what Admiral Kenobi could see, the smoke lingered on the surface, showing two SkyWings by turning into the colors red and dark orange and red-orange.
Flint was the right beside the Queen.
"..I need you four to search the land for the escaped dragons, and when you find them, you will kill them," Queen Anarchy was saying. Flint nodded in agreement. Who were they talking to? Another wisp of smoke, bright red, appeared on the surface.
"And when you find Feather, please protect her and bring her back unharmed," RedRunner added. The blood-red SkyWing turned from the mirror to glare at the soft grey-striped, pale orange SkyWing. She quickly wrapped her wings around herself and her egg to hide from the vile dragon.
He glanced back at Empyrean, snatching the enchanted object before slicing the chains off her with his bare claws. She smirked.
"You made the right decision," she snickered, stretching out her wings with contempt for the chained dragons.
