Chapter 43: What Was That About?

     The Princess was told she would be either killed or released today, not thrown back in the dungeon, and that's why she was significantly displeased when the guards dragged her back to that hellhole.

    "YOU ALL ARE SPINELESS ASSHOLES WHO SHOULDN'T EVEN BE FOLLOWING THE ORDERS FROM THAT TREASONOUS BI-!" Princess Anarchy roared, being cut off by a guard named Skylar.

    "The only one doing anything treasonous was you," she snapped.

     All of the other guards who had brought her back to the dungeon turned to look away. The Princess snarled, glaring at them again before slithering to the back of the cage. Fine, I'll just have to find my own way out, she thought, snorting.

     The NightWing that she had frequently seen outside but forgot the name of poked his head around the corner in at her. He tilted his head curiously as she thought, What the-? She understood right when she saw the two glimmering silver teardrop scales by his eyes.

    "Oh, he's a Mind Reader.." she mumbled.

     He looked at Flint and whispered something in his ear (expertly avoiding being burn by his Firescales). Flint sighed and nodded and they flew off. Well, there goes the only light in this dungeon..

     When all the palace guards had left, Princess Anarchy trudged to the bars glaring at Crisp, her current guard.

    "Sup," the Princess said rolling her eyes. Crisp turned her head about 210° to stare at her.

    "Uh-" Princess Anarchy said, stepping back from being creeped out. Crisp stared at her with her odd, soulless green eyes.

    "...Never mind-" the Princess muttered, slouching back down in the corner of the cell.

     What's up with her? she thought watching Crisp with concern as she turned her head back to a normal angle.

     She glanced up, secretly glad when Flint came back. Wait- where did Crisp-? Oh well. That NightWing who had been right behind Flint turned to glance at her with absolute smugness.

    "Wha-" she started but he cut her off.

    "Shhh. You know what, and I do to," the NightWing smirked, stretching his wings. She shrugged. Okay..
