RedRunner laughed as he soared out of the palace. He got quite a kick out of Flint's little crush, and he loved to taunt his brother about it.

He did a few spirals and looptie-loops in the air. He just felt like he wanted to go on a fly. It had been so long since his last "for fun" fly. When was it again? Oh right, right before that unforgettable night with Feather..

He wasn't ashamed. He didn't regret what had happened. Not one bit (well, except when his parents horribly wounded Feather because RedRunner and his group were a little too late in rescuing her).

The scarlet SkyWing began to wonder, though. I'll need to protect Feather and our dragonet in the future, right? He had never tried to breathe fire. He had never needed it, but maybe it was necessary to truly fully protect his fiancée from any harm.

RedRunner glided down to a small forest nearby to where he had been flying. There were tall pine trees and whiteish birch trees scattered around growing high above the plateau they were on.

He looked down for a moment before sharply inhaling. He exhaled, trying to imitate what normal SkyWings did, but nothing came out. Not even the smallest puff of smoke.

The RedRunner frowned. He knew he didn't have fire, but.. to not have any fire? Not even the smallest wisp of smoke..? He suddenly felt a tad sour toward Flint. He was definitely aware that his twin hadn't meant to steal all of his fire, but it still felt like a kick in the ass to RedRunner.

He sighed, stumbling through the bushes back into a clear enough area to take lift off. Launching himself in the air, RedRunner decided to go see Feather again.

He flew back up to the palace, zooming through the throne room into the Sunroom. He landed at the entrance to the dungeon, staring down through the tunnel.

As soon as he put one talon into the dungeon, he knew something was a bit off... Looking around nervously, he noticed that a couple of the cells were ajar. He walked in shaky feet to the cells. As he came closer, he realized that the two that were slightly open were the ones that his parents had been in. They had escaped. Somehow, in someway.. the two monster nightmare SkyWings Sear and, moons forbid.., Arson had been released unto Pyrrhia again...

The world was no longer safe with those psychopaths on the run... The least of RedRunner's worries were what they would do to him or Flint. He was just scared about what they would do if they got their talons on any of the dragons he or Flint loved...

His heart sank and he rushed toward then into the infirmary. It was a mess, medical beds tipped over, and medical supplies scattered all across the floor. She was gone, and so was their egg.

RedRunner fell to his knees, letting out a long cry of anguish. "Damn you evil parents..." he murmured afterward, tears falling from his eyes.
