I woke up from my loudly ringing phone. I groaned and sat up slowly. My boyfriend Pitch wasn´t here, I was alone. He didn´t even leave me a blanket though. He preferred it when I was cold. I don't even know what he exactly means with that.
A new day, and then also a Monday. I mean seriously, who could ever like Mondays? I sighed and reached out for my phone. First I unlocked it and finally set the alarm off. There was still enough time to actually continue to sleep, but I prefer it to be ready early and to leave the apartment as fast as possible. After I had put my phone back down on the little table next to the bed, I sighed and stood up. Then I stretched and took care of my normal morning routine. I took a shower, brushed my teeth and tried to do my hair. Still only in a towel from the shower, I walked over to the closet and picked out some clothes. A rather tight black jeans and a dark green sweater. Nothing special. I grabbed my phone and put it in my pocket. Since I was not feeling like eating something, I grabbed my bag and put on my dark gray sneakers and a dark brown jacket. It was already spring, but it was still very cold. I opened the door and left the apartment. On the way down the stairs I met a neighbor who was just staring at me weirdly. Whether she was staring at me because I´m gay or because she had heard something, I don´t know and don't really care. But I see her almost every morning at the same time and each time she just stares at me. I ignored it and left the house. Like I had expected it was indeed very cold. I shivered a little and took my headphones out while I started to walk to my school. My way to school way normal as always. Accompanied only by the music, I tuned out everything except my way to school and myself as good as I could. Most of the people here know me and stared at me like I was just a piece of dirt. With my gaze on the ground I finally arrived my school. There was not much going on now, since I was here a little too early. I entered the school and made my way quietly to my locker. I entered the correct combination and opened it only to see how hundreds of papers flew towards me. On them were things like "fagot" and "Just go away already you stupid fag" written in a bright red color. Sighing, I gathered up the sheets and threw them into the nearby trash can. Then I threw my unimportant stuff in the locker and sighed before I finally made my way to my first class.
The classroom had already filled a little when I entered it. I sat down in the front row in my seat and sighed. Of course I wasn´t sitting in front of the classroom because I wanted, I was more or less forced to. There were the twins Ruffnut and Tuffnut, Snotlout and their leader Aster. They wanted to sit together as close to the girls from the class as possible so they forced me to sit in the front row or they would make my daily life even more worse then they already did anyways. To avoid any conflicts like I always do, I of course immediately agreed and sat down alone to the front.
Classes began as usual and everything went normal until at some point around the end of the last class when they started to throw paper balls and pens at me.
"Just go home and don´t come back here stupid fag!", shouted Tuffnut.
They all laughed and I just sighed and tried to concentrate on the lesson. The teachers had partially given up long ago to help me or are themselves against gays too.
"Hiccup oh, you´re in a gay-hating city, you should be gay! Way to go!" I mumbled sarcastically to myself.
On the way home I made a stop at the Library. I like to spend a lot of time in it. No one in there is so annoying as the people in the school and I just can read in peace or learn for school. I went inside in the pleasant warmth and sat down at a table at the rear end of the Library. I took out my headphones and turned my music on quietly while I was on spreading out my school stuff on the table. While I learned mathematics and the music played softly in the background, I stopped noticing how quickly the time went by. When I had finished an exercise again, I sighed and looked up only to see that it was already dark outside. I quickly packed up my things and went on my way back home. Pitch will be so angry if he is home already! On the half of the way I even had started to run but I was too late. In front of our house already stood the black car from Pitch, which clearly caused the panic to rise in me. I jogged to the front door and sprinted up the stairs. No, I´m not good at sports, I´m just scared. I panted heavily when I finally arrived at our apartment door. I just wanted to get my key out to open the door, but it opened by itself.
"You´re too late again.", hissed Pitch.
