Hiccup's P.o.v.

"I don't think you know him by his name... Jack, Jack Frost?", I asked and looked up at him but he just shook his head.

"Sorry, the name says nothing to me. What does he look like? I have already seen everyone which was down here. I mean, I didn't have anything to do all day so I just watched them bringing the people down here.", Cody said and looked around again. Probably to check out if nobody would have been here which could bring us in more trouble. You could never know if there are more guards down here or not.

"He is very tall, has snow-white hair and beautiful ice-blue eyes and-"

"Hey, hey hey! I already knew it after the white hair. And also... by the way you describe him... is he very important for you?"

"You know him?!" I ignored his question and nearly jumped on him. If he knew Jack, he had to be somewhere here!

"Calm down first! And then answer my question. How important is he for you? In what way are you two related?"

I sighed and looked down. Would he laugh  when I tell him what Jack meant for me? When I tell him that he is my only true love and I would do everything for him? But he maybe knows where he is! It's my only chance to save him... I just have to risk it.

"H-He is something like my boyfriend...", I finally muttered.

"You and him are a couple...?" A bright smile appeared in his face. "Then I will show you where to find him. However, I must warn you of something. He was in there for several weeks and didn't get much food. They always do that with the more muscular guys to weaken them. I'm not even really sure if he is still alive. But he was tough. He seemed to be fighting for something... for you." Cody smiled softly at me and I nodded.

"Then let's go. He's pretty far inside with the more important prisoners.", he told me and walked with me through a long corridor.

While we passed several doors he muttered: "212... 213... 214... and ah. This one. Number 215." He knocked against a large door which didn't had a window like the others. "It's the safest cell. At the beginning your boyfriend has always fought and attempted to break out. At some point they eventually lost patience and locked him up here."

Jack tried to break out here on his own...? This sounds so much like him... I smiled softly but finally turned my attention to the door. The smile faded when he held the keys to me and I took them. Behind this door could be Jack... I could finally see him again...

My hands started to shake while I was trying to find the right key for the lock. The shaking was getting worse until I nearly dropped the keys but Cody grabbed my hand and looked at me, smiling softly.

"Calm down and take your time. I doubt that he will run away now." Cody laughed softly and I nodded. He was right. I had to calm myself down.

My hands finally calmed down a bit and I found the right key in a few moments. I turned it around one time and tried to open the door but it was still closed. Again, I turned the key and finally the door opened. Slowly I pulled the heavy door open just to be welcomed by a pitch-black room. In the other cells were at least a small window or a lamp, I had seen that before but... in this cell it was just dark.

"H-Hello?", I asked quietly and unsure into the cell. I tried to get used to the darkness while I slowly walked into the cell. There was only silence beside my footsteps. Was no one here? I sighed and relaxed a little. I searched through my pocket and got my cell phone out and turned it on. After I flipped it around, I could use it as a pretty good flashlight and was able to look around in the cell. The walls were made of stone, just like the floor and it was incredibly cold. I flashed to my right and saw a chair standing in the exact center of the room. Suddenly I heard a very quiet noise. At first I though that I just had imagined it but when I heard it a second time I was sure that it was real.

"J-Jack...?", I asked quietly, looking around in the cell a bit more. It was much bigger than I had expected it at first.

I decided to walk along the walls so I would get an overview of the size of this room. Slowly I walked along the wall and slid a hand over the cold stone wall. My foot suddenly touched something which frightened me so much that I jumped back a bit. I let out a shaky breath and slowly looked down. I saw something that I would probably never forget in my entire life. Down there on the cold stone floor sat Jack. He was wearing a similiar coat like Cody but Jack seemed completely different... He was very thin and and his bones where almost visible. His skin was far more pale than it used to be and he had scars and bruises everywhere. At first I was not able to move until I noticed that Jack was unconscious. I knelt down beside him and put my phone on the floor. Then I gently took his face with both of my hands and looked at him more closely. He seemed upset and scared even in his sleep...

"Jack..." I gently brushed a strand of his now dark gray hair out of his face. I heard Cody enter the room and he knelt down beside me on the floor.

"He doesn't look good. Lets bring him out of here.", Cody said and smiled lightly at me. I nodded and looked over Jack. His hands were tied up with chains that ended in the wall. Same with his feet.

"Who would do a thing like this...?", I asked more to myself. Tears gathered in my eyes. Jack had been hurt that much, had to suffer down here and that all because of me...

"Wait." Cody stood up and walked back to the door and pulled the key out of the lock. "One of the keys must be for his chains. Although I still don't understand why she had to lock him up like this. That's not normal. They wouldn't do that with anyone else here." He walked back to me and held the keys to me. I took them and searched for the right key. Quickly I had found the right one and opened Jacks chains. Jack fell forward but I caught him in my arms and gently caressed his back.

"We will get you out of here Jack...", I whispered softly in his ear and kissed his now rather bony cheek. "Cody, can you help me...?", I asked and looked up at him. He nodded and lifted Jack gently up. I took my phone and got up too. After that, I put my arm around Jacks waist and along with Cody we carefully carried him out of the cell. Cody asked me several times if I wanted him to carry Jack alone but I didn't want that. I didn't want to let go of him so fast. Also I could feel how light Jack had become. He was literally just skin and bones and that made me worry at least as much as the fact that he still wasn't awake.

We dragged him up the stairs and I almost tripped a few times because I couldn't take my eyes of Jack. He was alive... he was with me...

"Hiccup!" I heard Norths voice almost yell while he came running to us. "Jack...?" He looked at me expectantly and I nodded.

He gently put his hands under Jacks legs and back and took him bridal style.

"I've already called the police and ambulance. They should be here soon. And you are...?" North stared at Cody but this didn't seem to impress Cody at all and he just smirked.

"Cody. I was the one which helped the midget to get his boy. But could I talk to you for a moment Hiccup?" Cody looked at me with a hopeful look. I glanced at Jack in Norths arms and sighed. After I agreed we walked a little away from North and Cody sighed quietly while he stared at the floor.

"Can I... Can I have the keys? In the basement are a lot of innocent people which don't deserve to die in it. However, a few of them have a bad history that wouldn't help if the police found them... But time has changed everyone while we were down there and..."

I sighed and nodded. "Alright. But if something should happen, you didn't get the keys from me."

He smiled brightly and nodded while he grabbed the keys and ran back towards the basement. "Thank you Hiccup!", he shouted and ran back down the stairs that led to the hell which we just came from. I shook my head and sighed. Had I done the right thing when I had given him the keys? Honestely, I don't really care at the moment. The only important thing  now... I let my eyes wander over to North.

Jack...
