Hiccup's P.o.v.

Everything was crazy in my head and I was so confused. Why should Jack write this note? Was he already free? Or did he work together with Pitch...? No. I know Jack. He would never do something together with Pitch even if he wouldn't know what he did to me.

But what was that thing Jack tried to warn me about...? Don't trust the people close to you... close... Tooth? Did he mean her? But why? He probably doesn't even know her! I sighed and shook my head. It was too much for me right now. Maybe I really shouldn't tell Tooth anything for now. But the address... Who could I trust except Tooth? Then I remembered I had a other phone number too. North... I searched through my bags and finally found the piece of paper on which he had written his number. I dialed his number and waited. After a little time someone picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hello North. It's me, Hiccup."

"Oh Hiccup. What can I do for you? Why are you calling me at a time like this?"

I sighed quietly. "There's something I need to show you. Can we meet?"

"Now?"

"No, tomorrow is okay too. But as soon as possible. It's about Jack."

"Jack...? Okay, I'll be there tomorrow at four."

"Okay, thanks North."

"Anything for you."

I smiled lightly and said goodbye to him and hung up. He was so nice to me even though he barely knew me... I'm sure he's not the person Jack meant. North would have no reason to do any harm to me. Sighing, I took my new sleeping pants and pulled them on. Then I laid down in my bed and pulled the blanket up. Toothless looked at me a little angry because I had disturbed his sleep but then he stood up and walked in my lap. Then he curled in a ball there and closed his eyes. I smiled softly and petted Toothless a little while he purred softly. After some time I finally fell asleep.

The next day I couldn't wait to meet North and was quite nervous. What would he say? Perhaps someone had simply forced Jack to write it or tried to copy his handwriting... but why? I sighed and chewed a little on my pen. Actually, I had been trying to draw something to distract myself until four but I wasn't really able to draw anything then little dragons. Tooth was at a friends today and wouldn't come back until at least eight. I had not told her that I would meet with North today because maybe she was the person that Jack meant on his note. But there again something was missing. Why? Why should she have done it? Why would she keep Jack locked up? I sighed and looked on my phone. Just when I wanted to check out what time it is, the doorbell rang. I quickly got up and ran down the stairs. Although I almost tripped on the last steps but I managed to catch myself. I slowed down a bit and finally opened the front door. In front of me stood North and this time he wasn't wearing the doctor coat I nearly always saw him in. He just wore everyday clothing.

"Hello Hiccup." North said and smiled at me.

I looked up at him and smiled too then I took my shoes and started to put them on. "Hello North. We must get away from here for now. Anywhere. I need to show you something."

North nodded and waited until I had put on my shoes. Then we walked to the car and drove to North's home. Once we were there we walked and sat down at a table in the living room. North looked at me curious and kind of worried.

"So? What is it that you wanted to show me that badly? And do you want something to drink?"

I shook my head and smiled as I pulled out the note from my pocket. "No thanks. But the reason why I'm here is this.", I said and put the piece of paper in front of him on the table and turned it around so he could read it. Norths eyes widened and he took the piece of paper in his hand and looked closer at it.

"I think it's from Jack.", I said while he continued to stare at the piece of paper.

"Where did you get that?", North asked me and slowly looked up at me.

"Pitch gave it to me yesterday. He pressed it discreetly in my hand before I left the room."

"Pitch? Have you told anyone else from this note yet?"

I shook my head. "No. On it is written that I shouldn't trust anyone close and that includes Toothianna. I thought that since you're something like a father for him he couldn't mean you. So I told you first."

He nodded and put the paper back on the table. "The handwriting is clearly from Jack. Where do you think this address leads to?"

"I don't know. It could lead to Jack or to a trap but I think we should check it out."

I knew my idea to go to the address was very dangerous but I hoped that North would say yes to it. It was the only thing we had and we had to use it somehow. If he would say no, I would go there myself.

Finally and to my surprise he nodded and stood up. "I totally agree with you. Let's go."

I got up too and followed him to his car. The address was not very far away and yet quite far out of town. We finally stopped in front of the address and just saw a big empty building. I looked at North and he nodded to me. Then we got out of the car and looked around. I was very nervous and was ready to run away any moment. We looked around a bit but found nothing. Not a single trace that anything could be here. When we were just about to leave, North stopped me. He pointed to a strange looking guy and gestured me to be quiet and stay here. I nodded at him and then he slowly made his way and followed the guy. They eventually walked around a corner where I couldn't longer see them anymore. North had said I should stay here but I just was too curious. Slowly, I walked around the corner and saw North sitting on the guy and his face was pressed against the ground. It looked really painful for the guy... I walked over to them because I was sure that everything here is safe now. North looked up at me and then back at the guy under him.

"What do you know about Pitch?", North asked him.

The guy under him trembled heavily and frantically tried to free himself. "I couldn't do anything against it! She forced me to do it! It was her idea!", he said in panic before he finally fainted because of the panic.

North sighed and let go of him and stood up.

"Well, that didn't help much."

"What have you thought that he would tell you if you just sit down on a random person?"

"The guy was walking around the building since we're here. He must have something to do with it.", North said and sighed. "But he couldn't help us much. Let's go back to the car. I'll take you home. We come back here another time and then we'll look around more closely."

I sighed and nodded. "Okay."
