Hiccup's P.o.v.

I stayed the whole day together with Jack and didn't leave his side. Not even one single time to go to toilet or anything. All the time I just talked with him. Or more like, I talked and he listened to me. I told him little things, nothing really important. For example I talked once about how it still was cold outside even though it already was summer. Or I told him about the little Toothless. He was very happy about me being here and just talking stuff. The doctors had given him a small pad and a pen which he could use to tell me things or ask anything since he still didn't have his voice back. Many of his messages were only small hearts or little snowflakes for me which I thought was quite cute. One time he asked me where North was too. I told him that he still would have to talk to the police. Jack listened closely all the time. Not that he could do something else anyways but still. He seemed really happy while he listened to my voice. And I just was happy that I was able to see him again. I held his hand almost every second or played a bit with his hair which was still slightly gray but as soon as he could take a proper shower again, they would be back in the normal beautiful shining white.

North came to us when it already was dark outside. To be honest I hadn't even noticed that it had become dark or how fast the time had passed in general. But I realized it after he told me that I had already spent more than eight hours with jack.

"Hiccup you should stop worrying now. Jack is safe here. So go to the toilet. I know that you have to.", North said and laughed. I rolled my eyes when I heard Jack giggle too.

"I'm perfectly fine North.", I said and stood up. But in the moment I got up, I noticed how much I really had to go to the bathroom. "Crap..."

Jack chuckled but then started to cough from it.

"Okay, I'm taking a break. I'll be back in ten minutes."

They both nodded and smiled while I made my way to the toilet which was at the other side of the entire corridor.

When I was on my way back from the bathroom I could feel how the sudden exhaustion flooded everything in me and took over. The power then finally left me in my legs and I walked directly into a wall and slowly slid down to the floor. I wasn't able to keep myself up at the moment. I sighed and slowly my vision started to blur. Did I overdo it again? Was I really that weak? Again and again everything blacked out and went back to normal until I finally sighed and closed my eyes. I wanted to be strong for Jack and be at his side, and now I am not even able to make it back to his room...

"Excuse me? Hiccup?", I suddenly heard a concerned voice ask.

"What...?", I asked quietly back and didn't expect to be heard from anyone.

"You shouldn't sit here on the floor."

I slowly opened my eyes and saw the nurse from before.

"Alex...?"

"Exactly." She laughed softly and held her hand to me. "Come on. You can't just sit around here in the middle of the corridor."

"What's wrong with me...?", I asked while I took her hand and got up.

"It's just the stress. Not only bad things can be stress Hiccup. It's too much to take in for your head and your body at the moment. And you were weakened before too. I read it in your health files." She looked at me and grinned. "But I have a good way to help you. You need plenty of sleep and peace therefore you need to-"

"I will not go home without Jack, Alex.", I sad and glared at her angrily.

"I know that you stubborn dork. If you would let m finish my sentence now, that would help a lot. Well, what I meant to say was that I'm so awesome and did a little favor for you."

"Like what?"

"Although I had to fight a little with the doctors but I could convince them that it is incredibly important that you stay in the same room like Jack. That means I could get them to bring a second bed in the room from Jack. That means you can stay with him."

"You have done that for me...? So I can stay with Jack...?"

She nodded and smiled softly. "Come on. I'll help you get back to his room." She put her arm around my shoulder and helped me back to Jack. Once we were there I could really see the second bed like she had promised. It stood right next to Jacks bed so it almost looked like it was just a large double bed.

She helped me up to my bed and I laid down on it in a way that I was facing Jack. He smiled softly at me and winked at Alex. She giggled and nodded before she left the room.

"Where is North?", I asked and looked around. "Did he go home already?"

Jack nodded and took his pad and wrote on it. "Yes, he's been gone since shortly after you left the room. He wanted to give us some more time alone ;)"

Jack giggled and smiled cutely.

"Jack, could it be that you made Alex bring the bed in here?", I asked and laughed softly.

He looked away and smiled innocently while he wrote something new on his pad.

"They said that you would have to go after you would come back from the toilet. Because of that I asked her if she could do anything for us. She came up with the idea with the beds. I think that's a very great idea because I can spend more time with the cutest and most beautiful boyfriend on the entire world. <3"

I blushed and giggled while I gave him a gentle kiss on his soft lips. He also blushed a bit and smiled at me. How I had missed times like this together with Jack... Even when it just was something simple it still meant so much for me...

After Jack put the pad back on the small table next to his bed he laid the pen on it and turned back to me. He smiled softly before he finally took my hand and held it gently. He felt so weak, yet so rough...

"I'm sorry you had to go through so much just because of me Jack... I still don't know how I can thank you for your help with Pitch but I still don't know either how I could apologize for what happened after that..."

He smiled and shook his head to tell me that it was okay for him. But for me it wasn't. I really felt bad for it. He had become so fragile... He felt like he was made out of glass. But weren't we both somehow? Our bodies are fragile like glass, but our hearts are pure gold and will beat forever for the other one.

I sighed and shook my head. Better change the subject now.

"Are you feeling any better Jack? A little bit?"

He smiled brightly and nodded. I sighed in relief and kissed his nose. But he just glared at me and pouted.

"What?", I asked confused.

He smiled and pointed to his lips while a light blush was visible on his cheeks.

"Oh." I chuckled and leaned over to him and kissed him softly on his lips. Immediately he kissed me back and put his hands on the back of my head. We kissed like that for a while. Slowly and gently, yet passionately. I put my hands on his chest and let them slowly wander along his sides. I could almost feel each rib from him but it already was better. He had gotten a little fat which was a very good sign. Jack ran his hands from my head over my neck to my cheeks. He caressed them softly with his thumb and slowly pulled away from me. We put out foreheads together and looked deeply in our eyes.

"Lets sleep now.", I suggested and smiled softly as he nodded. He gave me a quick kiss on my lips before I finally put my head on his chest and sighed happily while I listened to his calm heartbeat.

"I love you so much Jack Frost.", I said and let my hand gently wander over his chest. Jack smiled softly and I finally closed my eyes. But before I fell asleep, I could feel how Jack put his arms tighter around me and pulled me closer to him. Then I finally heard him whisper quietly and with a rough voice: "I love you too Hiccup."
