Chapter 23 - Overwhelming Jealousy

3rd Person's POV:

As days pass by, so is the fondness that grew in the new student, "Ferhein"

Every time lian is in the school, multiple mentions of the new girl's name was said.

It was getting irritating to the young male.

Of course this annoyance that was growing inside lian wasn't out of jealousy, it was something else.

Something unidentified and hard to figure it out he can't place a finger on it.

In school, lian was wandering around the hallways when he saw blizzard walking towards his way.

Hoping to not get trapped in one of blizzard's furry hug, lian covered his face.

Unfortunately it didn't work, he was still called out by one of his beastmale comrade.

"Sup' lian!" Blizzard said to lian as he approached him even more.

Slowly taking the hand cover out of his face lian still avoided eye contact, blizzard was confused at first so he was the one who looked at lian in the eyes instead.

Blizzard: You okay bro?

He asked politely.

Lian: Yeah yeah... I'm okay.

Blizzard: Really? You don't seem okay, you were covering your face earlier, maybe you need a nurse or something.

Lian: I'm perfectly fine blizzard, thanks for your concern anyway...

Lian simply explained, his eyes towards blizzard went down to a plushie looking toy that has the same appearance as the beastmale.

Lian: Nice...toy.

Blizzard: Really? Thanks, the others said this mini me looks fat, good thing you like it though! Makes me feel special, almost makes me want to hug you!

Lian: You can put the affections down a bit blizzard.

Blizzard: Okay!

A flick of particle appeared from behind blizzard.

Lian didn't notice it and continued to stare at the plushie

Lian: Wait, what are those things called again?

Blizzard: Mini-me! All of us have one, even the other students have this toy that looks like them.

Lian: I see.. And where did you get it?

Blizzard: We got it from ferhein, she gave it to us just earlier.

The particle from before returned again.

Lian: Uh-huh...

Blizzard: Yeah, isn't ferhein the nicest student ever, not to mention pretty.

Lian felt a sting down his heart.

Lian: Yeah... Pretty and nice.

Blizzard: Well, see you later lian, I have to go now, I'll message you when we have another meeting, bye!

Blizzard said before waving good-bye at lian.

Lian: Bye...

He whispered at lian who continued down the hallway staring at his mini-me plushie.

Lian: Ferhein...

Charlotte's POV:

It's already lunch time, where could lian be, I thought we were grabbing our food together.

I tried texting him over and over but no replies or my messages being on read.

Is he absent today? No, that can't be possible, I just saw him pass by me earlier...

Or maybe that was just a ghost, possibly but that would be just as impossible as seeing him loving all the affection the colossals are giving him.

I chuckled at that thought.

That scenario might be possible as well but impossible is still at the highest bar so I don't think I will not be able to see it in the future.

Checking my phone again, my messages still wasn't read.

"Where is he.."

Suddenly an idea popped in my head.

"To the school roof!" I thought to myself as I ran to the stairs up the roof.

Upon arriving, I hoped really hard for lian to be there to end this searching of mine.

When I finally reached the top of the school I took a peek slowly to check if lian was there.

There was no signs of him, nothing at all.

I was about to leave when I noticed someone standing just a few feet away from the door, her back was facing me.

A blue tie was wrapped on her hair.

"Is that ferhein?" I whispered to myself.

"What is she doing out here"

I saw her take her phone from her pocket and begin to dial someone.

"Hello" she quickly said to the one who was speaking to her.

The phone made some sound, I'm guessing it's the person that was talking to her, the voice of it was very inaudible so I didn't understand what they were talking about.

"Yes master, all the students are all loving "innocent Ferhein"

I squinted my eyes.

"Innocent ferhein? What does she mean by that?"

I kept listening to their conversation, it may sound wrong, but this girl is wrong the first time I saw her so it's very much fair.

"Yes I got all of their trusts right  in my hands"

I heard clearly from her.

"They're ready for the sacrifice master, yes..."

"The colossals as well have fallen right down my act, the four of them would be a great addition to our family"

She listened to her master who was now talking back again at her phone.

"Although I just have one problem here.."

"Problem? What could that be?" I asked myself quietly.

"There are two students here who really doesn't like to play by my games"

"One male called "Lian" and one female called "Charlotte"

"Uh-oh"

"I fear that those two may be able to destroy my plans... Yes master, I am truly sorry for my negligence, I will take care of them I promise"

Looks like she was scolded.

Lian was right... Something's off about this girl, I gotta warn him.
