Lian's POV:
Receiving absolutely no replies to max and the others, I felt extremely uncomfortable... No, I felt really worried.
As I kept on refreshing my notification, I always accidentally read his latest reply yesterday.
It read:
"Uh.. Hey lian! Sorry can't hang out with you today, the four of us actually took the new girl, ferhein, to a friendly date, anyways, see you tomorrow, be careful"
Feeling a deep pain in my heart, I ignored it, I can't possibly be jealous to that new girl... Right?
"On a date huh? Could you even at least pick a different word from that?" I stated in my head as I rolled my eyes and returned my phone back to my pocket from receiving nothing at all.
Laying my back against my locker, I looked in the left and right direction on the hallway, there was no one in sight.
"Probably in their class already.."
Before leaving, I heard clacking of heels and it felt like it was approaching me.
Turning my head slightly behind, I saw charlotte who was panting heavily due to her running.
"Ugh, what is it charlotte, is it about the new girl? If it is, I don't want to talk about her right now, not in the mood"
She looked at me in a confused stare.
"What? No I'm not here to talk to you about ferhein, wait, yeah I do want to tell you something about her!"
"Please Charlotte not now, I told you, I'm not in the mood"
Trying to get away from charlotte, I failed as I was grabbed tightly by her on my shoulder.
"No listen to me! You were right about that girl lian! Her whole act, the nice thingy, it's all a facade!!"
Her last statement confused me.
"Facade? What do you mean?"
"Ferhein... I heard her earlier, she was talking to someone on the phone, she was-
She was interrupted when a voice from behind her was heard...
3rd Person's POV:
"Hello there!"
The voice sounded familiar to Charlotte, slowly turning around and hope that it was a different person with the same tone of voice would stand behind her, she stood shocked along with lian.
There in front of the two of them, stood the "cutesy adorable" ferhein waving her hand side to side.
Her other hand was carrying a pink box with a silk red ribbon wrapped on it perfectly.
Ferhein: You're charlotte and lian right?
Lian: Yes...?
Charlotte: No...
Ferhein rose a brow.
Ferhein: But I thought you were charlotte?
Charlotte: I- um- uh-
Lian: What she meant is that she is indeed charlotte.
Lian explained to ferhein briefly, using his elbow to bump her in order to fix his stuttering friend.
Charlotte: Yeah.. My name's charlotte..
Ferhein: Oh goody, I just want to say that I need to talk to you about something later after school... Hope you would accept my invitation.
Before charlotte could speak, her mouth was sealed by lian.
Lian: Of course, we'll be there.
Ferhein: Glad to hear it... Well, see you two then.
Ferhein said with a bye wave as she left the two alone.
Charlotte pushed lian's hand away from her.
Charlotte: Are you crazy?! Why would you accept that freaky girl's invite! She's insane!
Lian: Are you dumb! Of course I know that, which is why I accepted her invitation for her to appear later so we can take her down.
Charlotte: Ohhh... Sorry didn't get that at first
Lian: Now c'mon, let's get back to our class and later we're going to capture her.
Charlotte: Okay.
The two agreed with the decision and made their way to their next period of class.
-- Timeskip --
Once every other student was fully out of sight, charlotte and lian went to the meeting point on where ferhein wants to have a little conversation with them about something.
Charlotte and lian looked behind them to check if there were someone or something following them.
Once the coast was clear, they proceeded.
Finally, at the forest just outside from school, lian and charlotte spotted ferhein with the same box from earlier.
Ferhein: Ah! Good thing you came, I really wanted to talk to you about something, but first... Cupcake anyone?
She untangled the ribbon and opened the box, inside there were plenty of pretty decorated cupcake.
Ferhein: Aren't they just beautiful? Here, try one.
With lian and charlotte exchanging looks, both reached for the cupcakes.
Lian noticed something strange flickering inside of the cupcake.
Before both of them could even take a bite, lian recognized the particle and threw the cupcake away from him and slapped the other one from charlotte.
Lian took the box from ferhein and threw it all out.
Ferhein: Huh?
Ferhein frowned to see her cupcakes completely ruined.
Lian immediately felt uncomfortable and quickly confronted ferhein.
Lian: Alright demon.. What's your little petty game?
