The Lost Element

Chapter 7 - Lian's Secret

Lian's POV:

I woke up earlier than usual, charlotte suddenly messaged me in the middle of the night yesterday saying she wants me to tag along with her to go to school so that she doesn't feel lonely and awkward, she can be stupid sometimes but I'm kinda used to it by now.

When I went to open the front door I immediately saw charlotte standing there browsing her phone and looking on some of the pics of her "Anime Husbandos"

"Are you ready to go" she asked me as she returned her phone back to her pocket and pulling the bag that was almost about to slip off her arm.

"Yeah whatever" I closed the door and double checked to see if it was safely locked, after that I ran fast after knowing that charlotte was already a few miles away from me.

"Bitch!" I cursed from my breath until I finally catched up with her, she let out a witch-like cackle as she saw me running towards her, she said I look stupid but I just ignore all of her irrelevant comments and just focus on me.

As we passed the neighborhood some of them are waving at us, and some were just giving polite smiles, we returned the favor by smiling and waving back, although I'm not used of this village being... Lively.

When we arrived at school some of the students were still outside, maybe they didn't want to go in yet, the entrance is open so like a "good" student, we finally entered.

The rooms were still empty and it made the silent corridor feel like it came out of a horror game.

"Okay, maybe we should just explore the school to remove this negative atmosphere" I quickly said in a scared tone.

Charlotte agreed with me as we went outside and cleared our thoughts for awhile, she took out two lollipops that was conveniently unwrapped and gave me one.

I silently sucked on the lollipop as I simply stared at my phone and checked on some profiles of people that I never heard or even know before.

I just love doing that.

Suddenly, charlotte tugged my sleeve and pointed in a group of male students talking and chatting on whatever their topic is.

"What about them?" I asked charlotte.

"I'm gonna marry them all someday" she whispered at my ear, I checked the male before going back at charlotte.

When I looked at her again she gave me a creepy smile as if she was a yandere waiting for someone to flirt with her "crush" so that she has a reason to kill them.

"You're so thirsty" I mumbled as she gave me a pout before going back to her phone.

I hate her for making me go to school early, there's nothing interesting here to look, watch, or even eat.

==Time Skip==

After a few classes ended mostly in our morning schedule, it was finally lunch, my favorite time of the day, and as usual charlotte was nowhere to be seen, where is that girl even going.

When I was about to go to my locker to stuff in some of my stuff I immediately spotted max running towards my way, his smile was beaming everyone's heart making the other's faint especially the human students since no human in this school is as hot as the beastmales in here.

"Ready to go?" Max lent his hand for me to hold on, I smiled as my polite reply for agreeing with me but I denied his offer of the both of us holding hands.

He then just simply shrugged when I didn't hold hands with him and placed both of his hands in his pocket, I then placed both of my hands behind my back as we slowly walked towards the corridor where most of the students are here since it's our break time.
