The Lost Element

Chapter 5 - The Result

Everyone was waiting for the result on the test two days ago, they couldn't wait to see who was the new member was, although they didn't really care who it was, others were already planning on using this new member to gain attention from the colossals.

The others who didn't participate were also tensed up wanting to know who was the new official member.

Charlotte went over to the board on what the others were looking are and her expression quickly changed.                 
     
 "CONGRATULATIONS MR. LIAN BLIGHT FOR PASSING THE EXAM OF THE COLOSSALS"       

Charlotte immediately took her phone out of her pocket and quickly called lian to tell him the big news but when she was about to hit the call button she spotted lian who just arrived looking bored as always.

"Lian!" Charlotte rushed to her best friend gaining the attention of the few students.

"What?" Lian looked at his proud and excited friend as he was instantly dragged from his stopped spot to the board on where the announcements were pasted.

"I got in?!" Lian's eye widened as he looked at charlotte who was very happy for him.

"Congratulations lian! I'm so happy for you" she excitedly hugged her best friend, she was so happy but at the same time afraid and sad thinking that lian will forget her in the future.

"Don't forget about me" charlotte spoke followed by a laugh to hide the sharp pain in her tone.

Lian knew this might happen if he got in but he promised to charlotte that the two of them will always hang out.

"Don't worry sis, I promise you I won't forget about you" lian and charlotte hugged it out and forgot about that negative thought and just walked through the hallway as forever best friends.

Lian's POV:

When class was about to start the students were already in their seats and so was me and adolfo.

He used his tail to get my attention and when I looked at his seat he mumbled in his lips "congratulation" followed by a double thumbs up.

Ms. may arrived and went to her table and placed the books as she began our lesson for the day.

==Time skip==

I quickly hoped out off our rooms and looked for charlotte, wondering on where she must be I looked over first to the canteen but unfortunately for me she was never to be seen.

I looked at the bathroom but she wasn't there either, I tried to call and text her but she didn't answer or gave me any type of response.

I sighed as I took my lunch on the rooftop alone, I don't like eating alone, I hate it when people's attentions are on me, but on the plus side I guess I can goof off atleast once in my life without her.

I laughed as I went to the rooftop ignoring the others, although maybe this is my time to be an extrovert, but then again the constant gossiping, loud noises, screaming and other noises were a bother to me so I guess rooftop it is.

I kept on hesitating about on which things I should do or not, it always bothered me on not picking the right decision, I was always afraid of being criticized by others but nonetheless I still didn't give a damn.

Once I made it to the rooftop no students were spotted, looks like no one wants to eat here.

I walked over to the nearest bench and opened the paper bag I was holding and pulled out a sandwich I made.

"I wasn't really good at cooking food but I'm the only who's going to eat so whatever" I thought as I gazed upon the marvelous view in front of me.

"I wonder why people won't eat here, such a shame" I mumbled as I kept on chomping down my sandwich.

Suddenly i heard footsteps getting louder and louder, I laid my sandwich down for a bit and looked over but I couldn't see anyone.

I heard something, sounds like crumpling, I gulped down my sandwich before talking so I don't choke.

"Hello?" I asked as I approached the mysterious person who was suppose to go here too, the footsteps were able to be heard again but this time it was slowly beginning to fade guess the person must've left when they heard me.

Once I was done I went back down but when I was about to go downstairs I saw a small bouquet of flowers placed on the tread of the staircase.

I looked over on the tag and saw my name written on it!

I took the bouquet and took a sniff, the flowers smelled very good, they were beautiful.

I looked over the tag again and saw only my name and a few words below it.

"For you my sweet darling,

Love, your secret admirer"

"Secret admirer?" This person must have some really low standard if this flower was really for me.

When I got back I saw charlotte typing on her phone as she was laying her back against the locker behind her.

"Charlotte" I called her softly as I rushed over her.

She turned around and looked at me but her expression changed when she saw me holding the bouquet of flowers.

"Ooh, who are those flowers for?" She asked.

"They're for me"

"You bought yourself a bouquet of flowers?"

"No! I meant someone gave me this" I gave her the tag and she looked over the name, she smirked at me as she took the bouquet of flowers off of me.

"Why would someone give me flowers?" I asked, charlotte shrugged as she looked at the flowers acting like the flowers are for her.

"I really don't know but whoever that was, you must take good care of their gift for you." She told me as she returned the flowers to me.

==Time Skip==

When I arrived home I took the empty glass vase near our window and cleaned it quickly, once I was done I quickly refilled it with water as I placed the flowers so that they'll remain fresh for a long time.

I placed the vase on the counter and went upstairs to take a break as I messaged charlotte so that we have something to do rather than stay at home bored as the day pass by.

3rd Person's POV:

A few days ago...

Four males were watching the cameras recording observing the students as they take down some of the robots.

"This is taking too long" the black and white wolf spoke as he looked at the students who were easily getting captured by the robots.

"Wait hold on!" He nudged the sleeping German Shepherd and the other wolf.

"What?" The German shepherd looked at the and saw a young male wearing glasses.

He must admit that for a guy he sure looks cute.

"Who is that?"
