3rd Person's POV:
After the meeting with the principal, lian left the room along with the beastmen behind him.
Trying to make even the slightest interaction with them they didn't notice as the four of them were engulfed with both anxiety and anger.
Lian let out a frustrated sigh now that he found out about the colossal's rivals, he didn't expect the "Bearer of Peace" have such a huge impact on max and the others.
He didn't know what to do now.
Looking at the corner at one of the hallways, lian noticed a figure move quickly out of his sight.
Curious enough, he decided to check on what it was.
Preparing to attack on whatever the figure was, lian was startled as Charlotte gave him a scare.
Lian: GAH! Charlotte! What are you doing?!
Charlotte: Oops, sorry, did I scare you.
Lian: Yeah! A bit...
Charlotte wanted to tease lian about it but seeing the stressed expression from his face, she didn't bother.
Charlotte: Aww, why the sad boo-hoo face?
Lian: Stop it charlotte.
Charlotte: Sorry, I'll stop now, so care to tell me what's been bothering you, i mean besides the fact that everything bothers you.
Lian rolled his eyes to the side.
Lian: It's the colossals, they're stressed and all...
Charlotte: Stressed about what?
Lian was about to speak but remembered that everything they had talked about must remain in a secret.
Lian: Nothing...
Charlotte: Come on, tell me! Is it because of the fact that your doppelganger was flirting with max?
Lian: No i- wait, how did you know about that?
Charlotte smirked.
Charlotte: You can't hide anything from me Mr. Blight.
Lian: How are you my best friend?
Charlotte: Aw, you can't deny the fact that even though I'm very annoying and always trespassing in some private stuff of yours you still love me.
Lian: That's because you're possibly the most decent girl friend that I have in my life.
Charlotte: So are you going to tell me or am I going to tell you that I know about the Cross-Battle between our school and the crystal heartline academy?
Lian: SHH! How did you know about that?!
Charlotte: Still doubting my skills?
Lian: You were eavesdropping on u- SHHH! You can't tell anyone about that!
Charlotte: Don't worry, my mouth is sealed shut, so are you gonna spit your problems out or what?
Lian: Fine! Let's go somewhere private so no one can hear us, wait don't we have a class to attend right now?
Charlotte: Don't worry about that, I saw our next teacher throwing up the floor just a few corridors away.
Lian: Ew.
Charlotte: I know, so let's go!

At the back of the school lian checked behind him and Charlotte's before speaking.
Lian: Charlotte.. I'm worried about the four.
Charlotte: Huh? Why?
Lian: I'm going to tell you this and I hope you can keep this as a secret alright!
Charlotte pretended to zip her mouth to make lian believe her.
Lian: Alright... earlier, the principal talked to me about the "Bearer of Peace" it seems they are the very rivals of the colossals and everyone's feeling gloomy.
Charlotte: Any specific reason?
Lian: I still have no idea, but I'm really worried for them, even blizzard is down, it's rare for him to be this upset.
Charlotte: What even is the deal with those bearer of peace?
Lian: I don't know that's why I'm trying to figure it out.
Charlotte: No, I meant like, why are they so down about it? They are the colossals, are they afraid they're gonna lose? They're strong right?
Lian: Yeah...
Charlotte: See! You know that too, look, maybe they're just startled about the fact there's going to be another Cross-battle that is held at the 'CHA' maybe they're just anxious but that doesn't mean they won't fight!
Lian: I guess you're right on that.
Charlotte: Plus they're so lucky to have you, you're lian blight! You are the person who successfully finished a mission no one else could do! And you even placed yourself in a life or death situation just for me!
Lian smiled.
Charlotte: Are you feeling better now?
Lian: Quite, thank you.
Charlotte: Now, if you're still worried, why don't you spread your love towards them, I'm sure it'll be a big help
Lian: You know? You're right, now I know why I still love you as my best friend charlotte.
Charlotte: Hey, if you need me, I'm always here for you okay?
Lian: Yeah, thanks again!!
With that, lian waved farewell to charlotte in which she did back as well.
Charlotte: Another point for you charlotte!

At the gymnasium door, lian stood still.
Lian: One of them has got to be here.
Closing his eyes he proceeded to enter the gym, he soon saw shadow whose back is facing him.
Taking little steps, lian approached the black huge wolf.
Shadow heard the soft footsteps and turned around.
He saw lian going to him.
Shadow: Lian?
Lian: Shadow... Can we talk.
Shadow: Of course, anything for you.
Lian smiled and nodded.
Taking a seat at the nearby bleachers, lian took hold of shadow's hand but the beastmen refuses to make eye contact with the male.
Lian: Shadow, please, I need to know why are you all acting like this, if you're nervous, I'm here, I'll listen to things that are troubling you!
Shadow was hesitant for a while, but seeing lian so desperate for an answer, he gave in..
Shadow: Lian, I am truly sorry for hiding this problem, this isn't me, so listen closely.
Lian: I'm all ears big guy.
Shadow sighed..
Shadow: The previous cross-battle, It.. It has scarred me for my entire life.
Lian: Why?
Shadow: Well.. It all happened a few years ago...
Shadow clearly remembered it all...
