(⚠️ BLOOD WARNING!⚠️)
Max's POV:
I gathered all of my power and landed a very strong punch against the wall in which I assumed was a dead end.
After the dust faded away, we discovered a hidden passage, another long corridor.
"Oh come on!" I whined.
"Stop your whining max and let's move out" I heard lian behind me as he lead the way towards the corridor.
I groaned but didn't let him hear me, he might get mad.
I followed him like a dog, which I am technically, his expression stayed the same, lian surely is passionate about his best friend.
Charlotte is so lucky...
When we arrived at the end, lian stopped me using the back of his hand, he blocked me from walking as he took a step first.
Is he okay?"
"Are you okay lian?" I tapped his shoulder, he slowly tilted his head facing me before answering my question.
"Yes, I'm just...." Before he finished his sentence a large boulder fell above us.
The next thing I know was I got pushed by lian away and all I could see was dust from the impact of the rock.
I cleared my eyes and blinked a few moments, everything was clear again until I felt something resting above me.
I checked who it was and saw lian, he must've passed out when he pushed me earlier.
"Urgh...?" He groaned and his eyes opened.
He checked on where he was and when he noticed that I was below him he immediately stood up and cleared the dirt off of him.
He helped me stood up as well as he checked the large hole that appeared earlier.
"Now we're going somewhere" he mumbled as he turned to me.
"I feel a very powerful dark aura down there, are you ready max?" He offered me his hand telling me to grab on to him.
I was hesitant for a bit but we can't let Charlotte wait any longer.
I grabbed his hand as I nodded, he smiled at me as we let both ourselves fall on the hole.
Once we fell all the things I saw earlier faded into darkness.
"Max! Are you all right?!" I heard lian but couldn't see where he was.
"Yeah!" I simply answered but still couldn't see where he was.
"Good!"
After our quick conversation, a light emitted below us, it was glowing a very bright blue hue.
The light soon devoured the both of us and we smashed on the ground safely.
I looked over at lian and saw him without any visible wound.
"Are you okay lian?" I helped him stood up, "yeah I'm all right" he then saw the place that was surrounded with blue and only blue.
It was just the same as the rooms before except there was no door to be seen, to understand it better, we're trapped, I just hope lian's right on what he meant when he said there's a dark aura lingering in here.
"Show yourself! I know you're in here whatever you are!" Lian suddenly shouted at the top of his lungs.
"Lian calm down" I approached him but then, a demonic laugh echoed at this very room.
