Maira was surrounded by a group of gangsters..

Kai's pov

I was walking through the streets to my way home. When I again saw that girl... surrounded by my gang members? My eyes widened with surprise. What the hell was this girl doing in the streets this dangerous? And why these morons are surrounding her? I face palmed. Now I am done with their stupidity. This is a beyblading gang and they are ruining it's image.

End of pov

Maira was now really annoyed with these guys. She said in a bored tone," What do you want? Look I am a little bit busy so I don't have time for cartoons." This enraged the gangsters and one of them shouted ," Whom are you calling cartoons?" Maira replied with a smirk," Offcourse you idiot. I can't see anyone else here."

At the end of the street, Kai was listening all this with interest, nobody is this bold to talk to the most dangerous gang of the town in this way. And this girl was so quiet in school and now she is confronting 5 members of a gang fearlessly. He was impressed.

The boys were starting to move towards Maira , so Kai thought it to be right to step between.

Kai commanded with authority," Stop!" And the boys stopped right in their tracks with fear in their eyes. Maira turned to find the source of voice. Her eyes widened and she said "Kai"  under her breath softly. She wasn't expecting someone familiar.

Kai covered the distance and gave his gang members a death glare. "Leave!" he ordered and they obeyed. Maira was shocked by now. 'Why are these guys obeying him? Is he what I am thinking he is? Is he their leader? ' Maira was unknowingly staring at Kai . As soon as they left Kai turned towards her and saw her staring. "Why are you staring?" He asked directly coming to the point. Maira was startled , she said " I wasn't staring at you! I mean I was but I wasn't!" Kai raised his eyebrows. She took a deep breath and said calmly," I was thinking something and didn't notice that I was staring at you.

Okay?" Kai smirked and rolled his eyes and said," Don't ramble on streets, it's too dangerous." With this said he was about to leave when he heard Maira saying.

"I don't need anybody's help. I can take care of myself."

Kai was standing with his back towards Maira and a small smile played on his lips.

"Really?" He asked turning towards her with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes and I could have easily handle those morons."she replied with confidence.

"So which one is the real you?" Kai asked with a smirk.

"What do you mean?" She asked confused.

"You were so quiet at school and now here are you, standing in front of me with this much confidence. Is it because you are afraid of talking to people?" He smirked

Maira was shocked for a second but hid it and back fired at him with a smirk," Well it would be more interesting to know your real side. I mean at school you were so disciplined, just as an ideal student but now here you are, giving commands to gangsters. Seems like you are their leader , right?"

This time Kai was surprised but instead of feeling enraged he was quite impressed with her reply. "Not a bad guess." He said.

Maira was now also interested in Kai as it was not normal to find out that her classmate is a leader of a gang.

Maira was thinking of leaving but was stopped by Kai asking," So what's your name and what were you doing here?"

She was surprised as many students had tried to talk to Kai but he ignored all of them and now he was asking her name.

She replied ," You can call me Maira and I was walking my way home when your gang members came to annoy me."

" You were going home through streets?" He said with curiosity bubbling inside him but he didn't show it .

"Yeah, I don't like the crowdy ways and it's quite interesting to walk through streets" She shrugged."Well gotta go." And saying this she ran away leaving Kai standing there alone.
