Blading surprise

As kai turned he saw Maira catching a blue beyblade. He was too shocked to say anything.

Maira's pov

We were walking through the streets when suddenly I saw someone aiming a beyblade towards Kai. Its too late to warn him! I had no choice so I took out my Beyblade and launched it directly towards the beyblade coming towards Kai. As soon as the beys clashed, the other one stopped spinning and fell while Stranzer came back to my open palm. Kai turned and I could sense questions in his eyes. I decided to encounter the attacker first so I blinked my eyes with an expression of ' I will explain everything later.'

Kai's pov

As soon as I saw Maira holding the beyblade, many questions started to well up in my mind but still I was happy to know that she is a beyblader and with what I just saw, I can bet she is not an amateur. Her launch was so accurate and powerful as it's single hit stopped the spinning of the another bey. I looked at her and she blinked , I understood that she wanted to follow the attacker before explaining anything. So I followed her as she ran behind the masked blader.

The masked blader was quite fast but Maira and Kai were getting closer. As they crossed the street the blader turned in right and got into a car which sped away as soon as the blader closed the door.

" Damn! He escaped!" Maira said.

Now Kai was looking at her without saying anything. Maira raised her head only to find out a staring Kai.

"Fine." She sighed and said ," I wanted to tell you earlier but couldn't got the courage to do so. I practice beyblading but I am not an official beyblader. I mean I never participated in any tournament."

" Why didn't you tell anyone? You are a talented beyblader." Kai asked , now curious.

"I.. don't know." She lowered her gaze saying this. "Nobody knows about this, not even my parents. They only think that I like beyblading but they won't like it if they knew that I do beyblading. Stranzer was my only friend all these years and I really can't afford this secret to get out. They think it to be so dangerous. And if anybody at school would find out, they would inform them for sure and then I even won't be allowed to do it ."

"Whatever. You are taking part in the competition anyways." Kai said.

" No way! I am gonna lose my freedom even. I can't." Maira panicked at the thought.

"I am not asking you, I am telling you that you are taking part in the competition. I want you to win the competition." Kai said sternly.

" But I can't go against my parents and they won't allow me to participate." Maira expressed her problem.

"Ok, but Stranzer's partner will participate and win this for sure." Kai said with a smirk.

"What are you up to? I know that smirk." Maira asked with a raised eyebrow.

Kai didn't replied and started walking gesturing her to follow. They reached in front of a shop and Kai asked her to wait for him. With this he went inside leaving a confused Maira behind.

After some time Kai came out with some bags in his hands. Maira gave him a questioning look. Kai gestured her to follow. She was frustrated by now as she don't like secrets.

"You gonna tell me anything or not?" She asked with an angry look on her face.

Kai just kept walking and said,"Calm down there is an abandoned house nearby."
