Next morning.. At the school..

Maira was in the corridor, in front of her locker, taking her books out for the upcoming period.

Suddenly, someone forced her to turn. She saw Bianca standing there with folded arms. Maira didn't want to create any scene, so she started to walk away. But had to stop as some other girls came to stand before her to stop her.

Maira sighed "Now what do you want?" She asked rolling her eyes.

Bianca came forward and said," Who do think you are, dating the world champion and showing us your damn attitude? How dare you steal my future boyfriend!"

Maira rolled her eyes "I am not dating anybody. So just leave my way."

But nobody seemed to believe her. " Oh really! Then what you have to say about these pics of Kai and you getting viral?" Another girl shouted showing her the pics of her and Kai.

" Can't you talk at a lower pitch?" Maira asked covering her ears with her hands.

"Yes I can, but I won't! And you are not going anywhere! You have to pay for what you have done to us!" The girl shouted again.

"Look, I am warning you people, I don't have much patience, So just stop annoying me." Maira said closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, trying to keep her cool.

"As if we are afraid of you. We are seven and you are alone." Said a girl with short pink highlighted hairs.

Saying so, the other girls started throwing Maira's books and other things on the floor.

Maira's pov

As I was going to my class from my locker, Bianca and some girls came to me. I tried my best to keep my cool but it seemed as if they wanted a fight so badly.

They started to throw my stuffs on the floor. Even my books! Now they are crossing the line! How dare they touch my books! In all these years, my books were the only way for me to keep me occupied in school.

Now they will have to pay for this. Till now, they just have seen my patience and kindness, now they will have to bear my rage! Now I was really furious!

I took a step towards the girl holding my book, she looked at me and said" Oh is this book so special for you? Then it is not worth only throwing." And was about to tear it, I couldn't take it anymore and held her wrist.

I was so angry that I didn't care that I was holding so hard. It was because of the training I did. Well I don't care now! I warned them.
I took the book from her hand as she was busy groaning in pain and lost her grip.

End of pov

" Enough of your nonsense! Just put my stuff back as it was or I swear on god that it would be so painful for all of you!" Maira warned them" Untill today you have seen my patience and kindness but now you have forced me to show my rage!"

Now everyone was staring at her in surprise. She had answered Bianca back so many times but nobody had seen her this angry.

"JUST PUT MY STUFF BACK! ARE YOU ALL DEAF?" She shouted, this time louder than before.

Bianca was stunned and didn't dare to resist. She placed everything back with the other girls and went away silently.

Maira saw Kai standing there but was so angry and didn't want to say anything harsh to him that she will regret later, so she went to class and sat on her seat with her hands on her temples.

Kai came and sat beside her silently.
After some time, he said "Remind me not to make you mad at me." trying to lighten her mood.

She chuckled at this, " Did the ice king just tried to be funny?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. Kai just shrugged.

"You seemed amazing there." Kai said with a small smile.

"Was it a compliment?" Maira asked " Well I was so frustrated with them. I can't tolerate the insult of knowledge. So I lost my temper." She said looking guilty.

"There's nothing wrong in it. At the first day, I thought you to be a quiet , scared and innocent girl" Kai said smirking.

Maira asked with a raised eyebrow," And what did you find out?"

"That you are like a silent killer, quiet but not scared at all. At times you could be said innocent but the very next moment you could be very dangerous. You are not like the other typical girls, who pretend to be bold but start crying at little things." Kai said with a smile.

" OMG! I have got to be dreaming! So many compliments from the great Ice King!" Maira taunted.

Kai rolled his eyes and teased her,"I thought that as you are my girlfriend then I should keep flattering or else you won't like it."

Maira's face turned bright red at this ," Wh-what?! I am not- " she was cut off mid sentence by Kai saying ," Cool down, I was just kidding. Well you look cute while blushing."' WAIT! What did I just say? I told her she is cute! I am really an idiot!' Kai thought.

This made Maira blush more. The class went by without anymore oddness as class teacher came and started teaching.

The class ended, Kai and Maira went in the garden. "Um.. Kai you said that I would take part in the competition but how will I register for it?" Maira asked with hesitation.

"Well you can't simply go and register as you will have to tell them, your real name." Kai shrugged." I have someone in mind whom we can trust. He can register you with ease if he likes your blading skills which he surely will."

"If you trust someone then there should be something in that person. By the way, whom are you talking about?" Maira asked.

"You will find out very soon." Kai smirked.

"You know I hate suspense , right? Then why don't you tell me straight?" Maira tried.

"Because it's fun to see you frustrated." Kai smirked again.

As the school got over, John came and Kai ordered him to take them to the person but this conversation took place at a distance from Maira so she don't know the place where they are going.
