Previously..

"You?!" Aunt Smith said bitterly but fear was lining her voice. The teens were also looking at them with pure hatred.

"Looks like you didn't like our little surprise but no problem, we are here to take what is ours." The man standing at the threshold said looking at Maira.

At this, Kai stepped forward to shield her from the man's evil gaze and gave him his cold death glare.

The man just rolled his eyes and sighed. The woman accompanying him spoke up at this "It would be better for you if you just give us what we want, or else you will end up the same way as your parents did."

Saying this, she moved forward and tried to grab Maira's hand but Kai stopped her. He held her hand before it could reach Maira. "Don't you dare!" Kai hissed at her.

"She is our daughter! She will have to listen to us!" The man shouted furiously.

Maira let out a bitter laugh at this with her bangs covering her eyes and said "Me? Your daughter?"

Now she looked directly in the eyes of the man and said "Just stop it already!"

Ryuga and Free were looking at her with care and understanding in their eyes. But suddenly, as Ryuga's gaze landed on the man, he started moving towards him with anger.

Free put his hand on his shoulder as a gesture for Ryuga to stop. "How the hell can you be this calm?!" Ryuga asked agitated.

"Because she can handle this. You said that she is your sister, didn't you?" Free asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah and that's why I wanna help her!" Ryuga said trying to get away from Free's grip but failed.

"So you want her to depend on you for everything?" Free asked coldly at which Ryuga's anger wavered.

"B-But she's my-" Ryuga was struggling with words when he was cut off by Free's cold voice again "She is strong enough to handle all this. Do you have any doubt on her? She only wants your support, so do it from here, stupid."

"Hmm.." Ryuga said but then as he processed what Free just called him, he turned his head towards him sharply.

"How dare you call me stupid?!" He snapped at him.

"If you are not, then prove it by not starting a fight in this situation." Free said looking towards Maira which calmed down Ryuga and he sighed turning his gaze back to Maira.

"Please don't make me laugh."Maira continued. "This is not a joke!" Her so called father shouted " And what's with this attitude of yours?"

"Who. Are. You. To. Ask. Me?" Maira asked speaking each work slowly and clearly in a cold tone.

"Maira! He is your father! Mind your language!" Her so called mother interfered.

Maira laughed as if it was a funny joke which confused the others.

"Why are you laughing?" The lady asked confused.

"People laugh at jokes, right? So I did."
Maira replied shrugging.

The lady was about to say something when Maira again spoke up "Please don't bother to repeat it because repeating a lie again and again can't make it true." She turned her gaze to the man and asked with a raised eyebrow " Right, Uncle?"
