First kiss

The boys had reached the party hall before Maira. They were standing in a corner talking to each other and waiting for their fourth friend. They were having a peaceful conversation when suddenly a group of girls approached them.

"Would you like to dance with me?" A girl asked. "No! He would dance with me!" Another girl offended. "Ryuga, please dance with me." The boys heard a girl requesting. "Free, please here!" "Kai, I want to dance with you!" The place was getting suffocating.

They escaped from the crowd of girls, annoyed.

"How the hell did they manage to recognise us even after these masks?!" Ryuga fumed.

"Where is she?!" Kai asked impatiently ignoring the blabbering of Ryuga

Free and Ryuga chuckled at his impatience. They had never seen Kai like this. Even they had to dress in suits so that Kai could meet Maira. They wanted to help the Ice King so they came but it's getting kinda entertaining for them to watch world champion and their friend like this.

They were again disturbed by some girls asking for dance. This part was so annoying for them but Kai seemed unaffected with all this as he was only waiting to see Maira. He even didn't seem to be aware of his surroundings.

All of a sudden, the hall went silent, every gaze was fixed on a beautiful figure standing on the entrance in a black beautiful dress. Behind the mask was the hidden hesitation which was habitually covered by a confident smile.

As soon as Kai saw her, he became oblivious to his surroundings. He just kept on looking at her. He came out of his trance by Ryuga's fake coughing. He glared at him as he and Free were pretending to look somewhere else so as not to disturb Kai.

Maira was standing at the entrance, hiding her hesitation behind her confident smile. She was scanning the crowd of people who were staring at her. She felt uneasy with their gaze. As she took some steps forward, some boys approached her to ask her for dance.

She denied all of them and kept searching for her friends.

Finally, as she spotted them, she went straight to them. Everybody's gaze following her to her destination. As she reached there, " Are you all done staring?" She asked in a calm but stern tone.

As they heard her, they turned to where they were before.

"That's my sister!" Ryuga exclaimed with amused look on his face. Kai raised an eyebrow at this " Since when?" " The day when I showed my sweet side to Chris." Ryuga said smirking. Kai smiled.

"Well I must say, you totally put us out from your dress code." Ryuga said with a fake pout.

"We didn't plan anything!" Maira said embarrassed.

"Oh it means it's just a cute coincidence between two people who are in love huh?" Free said saying the 'who are in love' in a whisper so only Ryuga could hear. They chuckled at this.

"But you are really looking nice. I swear if Kai would not have been here I would have asked you for dance or may be something more than that." Free joked which earned him death glares from Kai.

"By the way, it's a dance party , isn't it? And everybody is asking for dance so just to ignore them, why don't you pair up" Ryuga asked with an impressed look on his face with his idea. "Yeah, so that their impatience will end" Free whispered to Ryuga.

Kai and Maira looked at each other. And to her surprise, Kai actually offered his hand and asked her to dance.

'OH MY GOD!! He is asking me for dance! I can't believe it!' Maira squealed with joy mentally. She took his hand and slightly nodded. Kai lead her to the middle where other students were also dancing.
