Fear and Love Part III (Kakashi X OC)

Flashback: Co-Op Mission Part 6

Y'all remember Tsuki and Kakashi's first ever co-op mission in the first book when they had to gather information about the Akatsuki from Tsukata? This is what happened after Kakashi put him in a genjutsu.

So flashback to before they were dating, Kakashi realizes he's starting to develop feelings for Tsuki.

Tsuki ran out of the house and over to Kakashi.

"Thank God we came up with that signal, I would have had to kick his ass!" Tsuki said relieved the mission was over.

"That man was disgusting. He treated you with such disrespect and I almost kicked his ass myself." Kakashi said, anger lacing his voice. Kakashi reached around and zipped up Tsuki's dress that had partially come undone during Tsukata's advances.

"Thanks." She smiled and blushed,"Can we go back to the inn? That was awful. I'm so glad we at least got some information out of him."

"Sure." Kakashi put his arm around Tsuki's shoulders and pulled her close to him. Tsuki felt so violated by Tsukata she didn't protest his gesture, she just wanted to feel safe. They began walking back to the inn, both happy that the mission was over.

The town was quiet, except for the bumping of the bar/club they just left before following Tsukata home. Tsuki shivered as a result of her wardrobe choice that didn't cover much of her legs.

"You ok?" Kakashi for whatever reason gripped her shoulder tighter.

Tsuki nodded,"Yeah just pretty brisk out here. Can't wait to crawl under the covers and go to sleep.."

Kakashi shot her a closed eye smile and ran his hands up and down her upper arms, trying to heat her up a bit more as they approached the inn.

The elderly innkeeper smiled once again seeing who she thought was a cute couple return from a night out. Kakashi slid the key into the lock of their room and reluctantly removed his arm from Tsuki's shoulder, much to her dismay as well.

Something just felt right between them.

Tsuki immediately sat down at the edge of the bed. Kakashi had to avert his eyes from peeking at her thighs as the dress rode up her legs with each movement she made to take off the heels.

'Get your mind out of the gutter, Kakashi!' He internally scolded himself for even thinking of her in that way,'She's your comrade. A coworker. There's nothing going on here! Don't make something out of nothing!'

Tsuki shook out her hair, sending the scent of her shampoo through the air as she tied it up in a bun. Kakashi's muscles tightened, his keen sense of smell happily breathing in the intoxicating scent.

They could both feel the tension. But they both ignored it, pushing the feeling as far back in their mind as they could, even if it was just a little bit.

"Do you mind if I shower first?" Tsuki asked,"I feel gross after that disgusting man had his hands all over me. And I need to rinse my mouth out with bleach after that kiss."

Kakashi's blood began to boil once again as he recalled the past couple of hours of watching Tsukata's advances on his comrade. He felt that she was a respectable woman, she shouldn't ever have to deal with pigs like him. It pissed him off really.

But he kept this all to himself, his facial expression never wavering from his typical bored look,"Go for it..."

He had difficulty controlling his wandering eyes as he watched Tsuki bend over to pick up her travel pack and take it into the restroom with her.
