Flashback: Inauguration Day (🍋+fluff)

Guys, I suck and lost motivation for writing this book. Sorry I'm the worst and I'm trying to find inspiration lmao. Writer's block is the worst! I literally have the whole plot planned out but I can't seem to turn it into a story 😭😭. In the meantime, enjoy a half kinky lemon/half cute fluffy flashback chapter that's been sitting in my drafts while I take a moment and get my shit together.

Flashback to when the twins are three months old, Kakashi is going back to work after being on paternity leave.

I just worked my 7th twelve hour shift in a row and my patient has been on the verge of death every night so I'M TIRED AND I'M GOING TO BED. Love you, appreciate you for reading and bearing with me. See ya!

"Do we really have to do this?" Kakashi looked in the mirror and sighed as Tsuki wrapped his Hokage's cloak around his shoulders, "I've been the Hokage for three months already. All I'm doing is coming back from paternity leave. Is all this pomp and circumstance necessary?"

"It was Tsunade's decision, dear." Tsuki smoothed the fabric over his shoulders, "You chose not to have a ceremony when you first became Hokage and since Lady Tsunade took back over while you were on paternity leave she thinks that the people are confused and need an official inauguration to make it clear who the new leader is. Plus it would be cute to get some pictures to show Kai and Kanari when they grow up! The day their daddy became the Hokage!"

Kakashi blew air out of his nostrils with a small laugh, "Okay, but only to take pictures for the twins." He secured his cloak around his neck, seeking the approval and pride of his children who were still in diapers and could only babble.

Tsuki laughed and turned around to present the back of her dress, "Zip me up, please!"

Kakashi's hands reached for the zipper, instead taking the liberty of reaching inside and placing his warm palms to the smooth skin of her back, wrapping them around and sliding them down her stomach, "We have some time right? Why don't we have some fun before the ceremony?"

Tsuki slapped his hands away when he started tugging her dress down instead of securing it in place, "You are so bad with time, Hatake! We most certainly do not have time! We're gonna be late if we take any longer and we still have to get Kai and Kana in the stroller!"

Kakashi sighed in defeat, pulling her dress back over her shoulders and zipping it up. He put his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her shoulder while they looked in the mirror, "You look really pretty..."

Tsuki refused to fall for his tricks, "Save it, Hatake! You're not getting any right now!"

Kakashi hung his head and trudged off to the nursery, "I'll get the babies." He sulked, but immediately perked up when he saw the twins wide awake and giggling next to each other in their cribs.

He couldn't help the baby talk that fell from his mouth, "Look at my wittle babies. Aww you bof look ssssooo cute! We're gonna go to daddy's stupid ceremony and den we can can come home and play! Yes we can!" He reached in and scooped them up one in each arm. He was beaming with pride, "Woww look at you with your wittle Hatake crests on your onesies! Mommy dressed you soooo nice!"

"Blahh!" The twins reached out and grabbed ahold of his mask, squealing and laughing every time Kakashi spoke to them.

Kakashi's bottom lip pushed out into a small pout, "Ugh, I love you two so much it hurts." He wasn't lying, he felt like his heart could burst out of his chest at any given moment.

He carried them to the living room, with a shadow clone in tow carrying the diaper bag. He met Tsuki at the entrance of their home, handing her Kanari to secure them both into the tandem stroller for the walk over to the Hokage's tower.
