and be gentle
but instead
you showed me so much hatred
and anger
that i learned to simply
keep my mouth shut around you
every time i was around you
i was terrified
but perhaps that's because
you always bullied me into submission
and made me feel so small
but you can't
control me anymore

hurt me anymore
