Chapter 7
The door slammed shut, breaking Yuna from her revelries. The demon looked over her shoulder, she hadn't expected Ibiki to come home so soon. She'd hoped he'd still be gone another hour at least.
Cursing her luck, the kyuubi slipped on her ring and balled her cloak under her arm. She needed to get out of here without being noticed. Thinking of ways for escape, the redette slid the closet door closed, keeping her inside.
She had a way out, she just needed to remember how to use it. When was the last time she'd used the Flying Thunder God technique to go anywhere? She couldn't recall, even with her recent memory relapse.
But that didn't help her any when she wasn't even sure where she'd end up. It's not like she had any of her kunai with her seal on them when Konoha found her, and she was sure her old marks around the village had worn off. How long did those last anyway?
She had no idea, she only hoped she didn't end up somewhere she'd get caught by anbu or worse Ibiki. Sending a hopeful prayer to Kami-sama, the demon 'jumped.'
Her landing was anything but graceful, being the kitsune had not expected to land on such uneven terrain. She found herself sprawled out across what appeared to be the head of one of the Hokage's stone heads.
“Mah, could've been worse...” She mumbled, dusting herself off as she got to her feet. She retrieved her cloak from where she'd dropped it in the landing, dusting it off, she held it protectively.
Yuna raised her gaze to the village bellow her, so busy and loud, unaware of the kyuubi's escape. She sighed, getting ready to jump again. 'Please bring me home..'
Using the flying thunder god technique again, the kitsune hit hard wooden floor. Well it wasn't the home she'd been thinking of, but it would work for now. She looked around her room in Ibiki's house, this wasn't too bad. At least she could gather some of her stuff and then go.
She pulled out a medium black backpack, it would have to do, since she didn't have time to be picky. Ibiki was most likely still in the house. Yuna took out all of her blue robes and black pants Ibiki had gotten her, shoving them in the bag.
Her Akatsuki cloak followed as she didn't want to bring any attention to herself by wearing it inside the village. She then grabbed the few weapons she could find, and a small gold chain she remembered from her youth.
Sasuke had tried to take it from her once. She couldn't quite remember it's origin, she only knew it held some sentimental meaning. The kyuubi took off her ring, realizing it would be safer on the chain, than on her finger. She looped the golden cord through it, before clasping it around her neck. She tucked it inside her robe.
Yuna looked around the room one final time, before deciding she had what she needed. She pulled on the pack, ignoring the sudden memory of how Itachi used to grab her bag from her and carry it. Even when she told him she was perfectly capable of holding her own bag.
Her face contorted with pain as she gripped the straps of her bag tightly. 'I'm sorry darling, but how could I possibly move on from loving you?' She thought, moving to her window.
She had one last place to stop at before she left Konoha. Yuna slipped out her room window, being careful to flip onto the roof without alerting Ibiki. She needed to do this, go find Kisame, return to Amegakure, then hunt down Sasuke, and destroy Konoha.
Pain and Konan had spending so much more time in Ame since the Akatsuki had started losing members, her best guess was to find them their. She wondered how they were holding up with only Kisame, Zetsu, and Tobi bringing in money and information.
