Zak's point of view

After I dropped Y/N's presents at her friends Amber's door I quickly knocked the door before I quickly returned back to the car. I reversed the car down the road a little so I can watch Y/N's reaction as she finds the presents. Within a few minutes I saw Y/N open the door and saw her looking at her flowers and present, the look on her face says it all she's very surprised. I couldn't help but smile, I love seeing my girl smile and I love knowing I'm the one who made her smile.

With a smile on my face I started the car up again and started making my way back to the hotel, when I arrived back at the hotel my phone notified me I had a text message, when I looked at the message I saw it was from Y/N.

Y/N: "thank you so much for my beautiful flowers and present baby I love them ❤️ xxxxx"

Yet again a big smile appeared on my face

Zak: "you're very welcome baby, I knew you'd love them ❤️ xxxxx"

Y/N: "you know me to well and I do love them xxxxx"

Zak: "I'm glad baby, are you having fun with Amber? Xxxxxx"

Y/N: "yeah we've watched movies, talked and she was telling me about this guy she hooked up with last weekend xxxxx"

Zak: "I'm glad you're having a great time, really has she said what his name is and what he's like? Xxxxxx"

Y/N: "yeah she said his name is Nick, and apparently to her he seemed dreamy. But I don't really care about what my friends potential new boyfriend looks like as your my dream man xxxxxx"

Yet again I had the biggest smile ever appear on me my girl can always make my heart melt.

Zak: "and you're my dream girl Y/N, did amber say what Nick's last name is? Xxxxx"

Y/N: "no not yet but I can find out xxxxx"

Zak: "ok baby xxxx❤️"

I got out of the car and made up to my hotel room whilst still texting Y/N hearing that my girl is having a great time with her friend makes me happy that she's having a great time, but one thing's for sure I can't wait to surprise her that she's coming home with us. After I left Y/N's parents and whilst I was out running errands I actually had a phone call about me and the guys doing a couple more investigations in Sacramento. To be honest I'm happy to be staying in Sacramento for a little while longer, then that way Y/N can still have time with Amber and her parents before we leave.

I have to admit I'm so excited and happy about Y/N coming home where she belongs, once we're home we'll definitely make up for lost time and then once I've found the most perfect ring I'll ask Y/N to marry me. I'm actually feeling a little bit nervous about asking Y/N to marry me as I keep having the feeling she'll say no. But I know there's no chance in hell that would happen, I know fully well Y/N will say yes... And I sure can't wait for that day and to hear her say yes. After a little bit more texting Y/N we both ended our conversation for tonight and I got settled for the night ready for the investment tomorrow night.

Y/N's point of view

After I said night to Zak, me and Amber carried on talking about anything we can think of. During our talks Amber's phone notified her she had a text... As any best mate would I became nosey and wanted to know who she was talking to.

Y/N: "who you talking to?"

Amber: "oh just Nick"

I knew it was Nick from the way she was smiling and blushing as she looked at her phone. Whilst she was texting him I actually struck up the conversation and asked her a little bit more about Nick.

Amber: "he's a great guy Y/N, when we was talking on our date he literally opened up so much and told me so much about him. He's divorced with two daughters, he used to be on TV but no does his own little show, he's athletic and loves rock climbing"

He does sound great but right now curiosity was getting the better of me and I had thoughts going through my mind.

Y/N: "Amber have you got a photo of Nick?"

Amber: "of course I have"

Y/N: "can I see him please"

Sure enough she was looking for a picture of him on her phone until she came across one she had, then she turned her phone around and showed me what Nick looked like. As soon as I saw him I knew exactly who Nick was. He's not just an ordinary guy who you'd think your best friend hooks up with... Oh no my best friend has only gone and snagged herself Nick Groff. That's right Zak's old best friend, team mate and ghost adventures crew member Nick Groff. I was trying to keep my cool in front of Amber but inside I just wanted to scream she's dating Nick Fricken Groff.

Judging by my silence and shocked look, by now I'm pretty Amber knows I know something.

Amber: "Y/N is everything ok? you've gone quiet on me"

Y/N: "yeah I'm good, you do realise who you are dating don't you?"

Amber: "yeah an amazing guy called Nick"

Ok she obviously doesn't know.

Y/N: "Amber you're going out with Nick Groff, he used to be a member of Ghost Adventures and Zak's best mate along with the rest of the guys"

Amber: "No way!? Omg we should go on a double date whilst Zak's in town he'll be surprised to see Nick"

Right now I didn't know if that would be a great idea or a bad idea, I have no idea what happened between Zak and Nick, or why Nick left the show. Would Zak be surprised to see Nick? Would he be happy to see him? Or would it be the biggest mistake ever? I really have no idea what to think or even say to Amber.

Amber: "come on Y/N it would be great to surprise Zak and even Nick, they'll both me happy"

Y/N: "I don't know Amber, Zak never told me what happened between those two or why Nick left the show. I just don't want it to be a mistake to surprise them both"

Amber: "it won't be a bad idea, hey even if it was we'll just call it quits for the evening so they don't have to see eachother"

I really don't know what to think or say, a little part of me is like yes surprise Zak but another part is like no don't.

Amber: "look I know you're not 100% happy about this idea, but just leave it all to me, I'll arrange this double date as long as you tell Zak where and when. If it does turn out to be a bad idea then it all falls on me"

Y/N: "I just don't want to jeopardize our friendship"

Amber: "I promise it won't Y/N, everything will be fine, you'll see"

Before I could even say yes or no, Amber already arranged the date with Nick for tomorrow evening, so now I had to tell Zak about the double date and where and when to pick me up for the date and where we are going.

Zak: "sure baby I'll be up for that :-D see you tomorrow beautiful xxxx I love you xxxx ❤️"

Y/N: "I love you more baby ❤️ xxxxxx"

Well there's no going back now, tomorrow will literally be make or break. I'm so nervous about tomorrow and I really hope everything does go well.
