Y/N's point of view

A couple of weeks later and after alot of speech therapy sessions I was finally heading home. Well not my home technically I'm going home with Zak, as Zak doesn't want me on my own anymore he decided he wanted me to move in with him. To be honest I'm happy to move in with Zak I don't want to be on my own.

As I was leaving the hospital today Zak asked Jay to come with him to help him and me with everything. I wasn't quite leaving the hospital empty handed, they want me in the wheelchair for a good few months yet as they're still not happy about the damage on my spine and the nerve in my leg area. Plus I still have to make regular trips to the hospital for check ups and scans.

I was just sitting on the bed when Zak returned to the room with Jay.

Zak: "you ready to go baby?"

Y/N: "I'm ready"

Sure enough both Zak and Jay helped me off the bed and into the wheelchair.

Jay: "you comfy there sis?"

Y/N: "yeah, thank you"

Then before we knew it we was leaving the hospital and heading towards the parking lot. I have to admit I'm feeling nervous about getting into the car, the last time I was in one was my accident.

Zak: "you both wait here and I'll get the car"

Jay: "OK bro"

As me and Jay was waiting I was starting to have a panic attack.

Jay: "Y/N are you OK?"

I just shook my head and tried to calm my breathing.

Jay: "you're having a panic attack... Y/N look at me, focus on me"

So I did.

Jay: "that's it, deep breaths"

Jay showed me how to breathe and I started copying him, I was almost calm when Zak pulled up with the car.
As soon as Zak saw that I was having a panic attack he started getting worried but yet started to comfort me.

Zak: "it's OK baby, take deep breaths. That's it"

Y/N: "I don't want to go in the car"

Zak: "it's OK baby, you'll be OK I won't let anything happen to you baby I promise"

I can feel myself starting to calm down but I can't just stay here... I need to face this. I nodded my head as I closed my eyes and started getting ready for Zak and Jay to help me into the car. Soon enough I was sitting in the back of the car.

Zak:  "do you want one of us to sit in the back with you baby?"

I nodded my head

Y/N: "yes please"

Zak: "OK. Jay do you want to drive and I'll sit in the back with Y/N"

Jay: "I don't mind doing that bro, but as Y/N knows what you're driving is like. I think it'll be best if you drive and I'll stay with her"

Zak: "OK"

Before Zak got into the driver seat he came over to me.

Zak: "Y/N, I promise I won't let anything happen to you OK. I'll keep you safe baby and you know that don't you?"

I nodded my head and smiled slightly.

Zak: "I'll keep you safe"

Zak held my hand and then he got into the driver seat and drove us home. Sure enough we soon arrived at Zak's and we was making our way inside. But as we made it inside I wasn't expecting a warm welcome home. Aaron, Victoria, Billy and Morgan was there to give me a warm welcome home.

Morgan was the first one to come over to me and hug me.

Morgan: "welcome home, how you feeling"

Y/N: "better than I have thanks sis"

Then Billy and Aaron came over and gave me a hug.

Aaron: "we're so glad you're OK"

Billy: "all of us would be lost Without You"

Aaron: "especially Zak, you should have seen him when you was unconscious"

Zak came over to me and got down to my level.

Zak: "do you need anything baby?"

Y/N: "I'm OK thank you baby"

Zak wrapped his arms around me tight.

Victoria: "would you like some tea Y/N?"

Y/N: "yes please"

Billy: "I just can't believe how quick you got your speech back Y/N did they say why you lost it?"

Y/N: "I don't know"

Zak: "she lost her ability to talk due to the head injury, but as we know nothing can keep our girl down she quickly got her speech back. But it's not completely back as she can't talk loud"

Morgan: "did the doctors say if she'll have good and bad days with her speech?"

Zak: "yeah they said she could have days where she can't talk but other times she could. But me and Y/N found a way of communicating for those days which is text messages"

Jay: "that's a great idea, but at the moment Y/N hasn't got a phone so how did she type messages before?"

Zak: "she used mine and I just read them. I'll hopefully be getting her new phone in the next few days"

I can't believe how much Zak is willing to do for me, he's already done so much for me I don't know how I'm ever gonna repay him.

For the rest of the day I enjoyed spending time with Zak, the guys and even Morgan and Victoria. I've missed these moments whilst I've been in hospital and I can't wait to make up for lost time.
