She decided to start living the life she imagined instead of drowning in tragic
Misleading sentences and interrogative presences rattled the skyscraper like gates around her heart and mind you could see the look in her eyes she was terrified
After so many years of lying and screaming that she was done crying
she packed away every detail about her past buried it away hoping that tomorrow would be a new day
A new week ?
A new month ?
A new year ?
Until finally I hear "
,I pray for a new life I swear"
Second chances are only given to the ones who prove their life can be changed
If not its a waste of gods grace
She just wished they would give her some space
let her be who she wishes and not who they chose in the heat of the moment
Gave up on trying
Inside she was thriving
On the outside she was lying
They never saw how beautiful her eyes were
Or how happy she looked when she smiled
They never got to know the girl I've dug deep to find
the one who was buried alive under piles of lies and covered cries
Finally
Finally she let it all go
broke away and ran from what she called home
wasn't where her heart was but her feet were planted from the day she was granted this life she called hers
Finally took in the life she's been in as beauty instead of Misery
For now she could see so clearly
Done with the cover ups and the made up lies
Never should be called fake
Forced to act a certain way is different than choosing to be a certain way
Finally happy in her own skin not letting them tear her down once again
Walls are down to the point where only the brave can reach her
She took a deep breath closed her diamond eyes and let the relief take over
Whispering the only word she couldn't wait to release
