Aoi pov
i wiped away a bead of sweat on my head as i hear two of the the triplets calling out for me, i turn my head and give them a puzzled look. they appeared distressed and as if they had some news.
"A...Aoi-chan..." Kiyo started in between breathes, so Naho continued for her, "they found out that Kanao is somewhere in the mansion or on the grounds, so we need to evacuate for safety!"
i nod solemnly at the thought of Kanao's disappearance, but a spark of hope started inside of me. hopefully she's safe...
"i have to go speak to Oyakata-sama regarding a matter, i trust that you both and Sumi will be able to assist in the evacuation," i order with a smile, getting two firm and determined nods from the girls and made my way out of the gate, keeping my katana safely in my belt in case.

third person povAoi entered the Ubuyashiki Mansion's premises and proceeds towards an elder figure with shoulder length back hair that stood peacefully on the elevated wooden deck.
"Oykata-sama? you called me?" she started in a curious tone.
"ah, yes, Aoi. i have a proposal for you," he said with a warm, gentle smile, "i want you to become a hashira."
Aoi's eyes widened as soon as the word 'hashira' left his mouth. hashira? but i'm still so weak even after two years of training plus the times before that...
"i see, you must be overly excited," Ubuyashiki's smile widened. "i appreciate your confidence in me Oyakata-sama, but i don't think i'm fit for the position," Aoi firmly said with a sad smile, her words and tone reinforcing her lack of self-confidence. this saddened Ubuyashiki, a child with so much potential, yet is blinded by all her doubt. she sure does reminds me of Shinobu... the master thought with his smile still plastered on his face.
"i understand that you have no confidence in your strength, but that doesn't mean you can't succeed. take Shinobu for example, she was also weak, honestly i'd even say weaker before she started her training. but even after, she could only nearest decapitate her demon so she worked around it with her speed and knowledge of medicine. you are lucky to be blessed with more strength than a normal human but may still lack behind the other hashiras, so you can always do the same as Shinobu, don't let your weaknesses get the better of you." Aoi looked at Ubuyashiki with a new spark of determination in her eyes.
"very well then, Oyakata-sama, i trust your judgement and will try my best, thank you for the advise," Aoi thanked with a bow.
"i also noticed that you came up with a new breathing, might i ask what it is?" Ubuyashiki tilted his head and asked.
"it's called medicine breathing, derived from insect breathing since their commonly also used in medication as Shinobu-sama taught me. since i also knwo some water breathing, i incorporated some of its styles and forms into the breathing such that it's similar to both water and insect breathing. basically most forms function like water breathing, but the 'water' has poison and drugs to effect the demon and sometimes even heal injured swordsmen in the battlefield." Aoi explained.
"oh, interesting, but does that mean you'll need a specific sword design? i can have it done by a one of our blacksmiths," Ubuyashiki offered.
"that's be much appreciated. i need a sword similar to Shinobu-sama's but also is able to quickly change into a standard demon slaying sword."
