Part 18: Belas Books

2 days have passed since spending time at Castle dimitrescu. I am learning moonlight sinatra on the piano with dani, learning how to read complex sentences with bela and with cassi she's teaching me how to hunt!

Yeah it's kind of weird being taught how to kill someone by cassi but she said that it will help with the monsters outside which she calls lycans.

Me and the sisters get on well, it's like I'm apart of their family one of alcinas children. I saw them as my sisters and my aunt.

I was sat in the library with bela reading a book, I was sat on her lap with a book in front of me.

"so what does that sentence say?"

"one-s appon a time, there was a... Vyampere?"

I looked back at bela, she was smiling, her smile made me feel proud.

"not quite sunflower, once apon a time there was a vampire that lived in..."

"a big castle ."

" yeah now your getting it"

I lent my head back onto bela as I let out a gigle.

Hours passed and I finished the first chapter. Bela seemed impressed with how far I had gotten.

"awe well done there were some complex words you can now pronounce, next step writing!"

"huh?"

"you need to be able to write them down!"

Bela put me down on the chair as she got up, doing a twirl on the little podium. I let out a laugh.

"ill be back and we will practice more of your writing."

I nodded and bela left the library, I left the chair. On the table next to the chair there was the book I was reading it wasn't the village of shadows but a book on vampires.

Picking it up again I sat on the floor opening it to the page I left off on. I began to attempt to read out loud.

-Belas PoV-

After I left the library with my little sunflower still there I headed to my room.

"BELA!"

Oh no mother...

I turned into blow flies and found mother. She was stood in the main hall waiting for me.

"yes mother?"

"where is the child?"

"with me in the library learning how to read and write mother"

"oh thank goodness, I heard the growl of lycans near by and though the child was hurt as cassandra and Daniella have not seen them ether."

"im glad we share the same attachment to (y/n)"

Mother gave me a perplexed look.

"bela, is it right for a child to call me aunt only after a few days of knowing me?"

"mother you protect them from any threat and they will get attached quicker. I must be going mother, forgive me"

"ah yes now go teach them how to be a wize human not like some in this village"

I bowed and left to my room grabbing paper and my typewriter.

Walking towards the library I heard a small voice.

"the... Vyampyer Vampiyer... No. V-A-M-P-I-R-E. Vampire. There lived a vampire in a big castle."

At that moment I felt a warmth rush over my cold heart. I was proud of them. I walked in the room and they came running up to me.

"bela bela! Listen. Once apon a time there lives a vampire in a big castle! I can read it!!"

I ruffled their hair and knelt down. Putting the paper and typewriter down next to me.

"my little sunflower, come here. I'm so proud"

They came running up to me and gave me a large hug. I hugged back.

Nothing is going to take me away from them.
