Part 22: A Weeks End

After the phone went dead I handed it back to Alcina, she gave a warm look towards me and slammed the phone down.

"right you better go to bed now your leaving us tomorrow"

Oh yeah I'm only here a week next is lord moreau, I'm gunna miss my sisters dani cassi and bela.

I nodded and gave her a hug, well her leg as she was so tall.

Walking down the hall to my room I heard the wind against the glass. The snow fell harder coating the land outside.

Getting to my room I flopped onto the bed grabbing leah and curling up slowly drifting off to sleep.

It was cold, so cold. I could hardly breathe. I hid behind a statue as all I knew began to disappear.
A man was killing them all, one by one.
He approached me face shrouded by darkness and the blood of my loved ones.
I tried to run but he grabbed my leg and pulled me back to the floor pointing the gun at me.
His grin glinting in the light.

I jolted up, breathing staggered and throat dry with fear. It was only a nightmare. I look around to the hopeful sunlight that flooded my room.

I got up out of the damp bed and grabbed my clothes going into the bathroom.

After getting ready I began to pack my things. Leah, clothes, toiletries and other items. Alcina gave me a proper suitcase for my things and left it in my room ready for today.

The sounds of flapping wings got closer to me. I turned around to see cassi in my room.

"hey little mouse, breakfast in five see ya there"

She then handed me the sycle and vanished. I threw it in my bag and left my room. Heading towards the opera Hall I saw the piano, might as well.

I sat down at the piano, looking at the keys and sheet music I began to play the melody taught by dani.

The sound filled my ears as I began to forget my surroundings. I felt amazing till I heard a clap come from dani who was stood in the doorframe once I finished.

"wow your a fast learner aren't you. That was beautiful just work on your timings and it would be magnificent!"

She walked upto me and gave me a hug.

"I love you so much its such a shame your leaving,don't trust--"

She let go before I could hear the last part, don't trust who.?

I shrugged it off and went to the breakfast hall. Geting greated by everyone with a warm smile.

"hello sunflower please take a seat, we have news"

I nodded and sat down.

"as you all know this is the last few hours of (y/n) 's stay here before I take them to the meeting. Please say your goodbyes now as they will be leaving after breakfast and packing."

Alcina announced this with a hint of sadness in her voice. I got a tinge of hurt as she slowly sank back into her seat.

-bla bla bla you ate a lovely breakfast bla bla bla and now your in your room savvy? XD

I sat on my bed my head in my hands, till I heard the muffled gigles outside my door.

"SUPPRISEE"

"AHHH HOLY MOTHER OF ALL THINGS! WHAT ARE YOU DOING, BORROW GIVING ME A HEART ATTACK!"

I lay back on my bed as my heart was beating like a drum.

"awe little mouse did we scare you?"

"yes! Cassi you did!"

"did you think you were just gunna leave us with a goodbye!"

Danni said jumping up and down like an exited puppy. Bela stood in the doorframe with a gift box in her hand.

I sat up properly as she came towards me, I lookes at her confused as all of them gave each other the knowing look.

" guys you know I am not moving away away, I'll still be in the village"

"we know we know but we all think you deserve this as a parting gift."

Bela smiles as she said this and handed me the box.

I opened it to find a backpack with a lighter, knife, first aid and a lot more inside.

I was speachless so I just gave them all a hug each one of them accepting it and hugging me back.

" (y/n) time to go, we need to get to th-"

I saw Alcina stop at the sight of us hugging on the floor. She smiled and walked towards us.

"sorry mother-"

"daniela it's fine let's just get this over with"

With that she joined in all of us in one hug.
