Part 37: An Afternoon Of Fun

"I-I need t-to b-breathee"

All of them laughed as they let me go from the group bear hug.

"thank you"

I sounded raspy as I tried to regain my breath. Bela patted my head and laughed.

"it's nice to see you again, sunflower."

"yeah supprisngly we missed you"

Cassi being the sassy queen and dani just hugging me again.

"so what will we be doing we have an entire castle to ourselves! A castle!"

I tried to be enthusiastic about this but since the incident I don't really trust anyone but Karl. He's pretty much my now adoptive dad.

"well we could play hide and seek or blind man's bluff if you are all up for it?"

Danni broke me out of my thoughts, seeing that everyone was in agreement we played hide and seek.

"right so I'll count, you have till the count of 15!"

Bella communicated this and spun around in the main foyer where the large painting of the daughters are.

"1...2...3..."

Me cassi and danni ran off in different directions, cassi went upstairs, dani went in the room by the stairs.

Belas counting echoed down the halls, I ran to the back garden and hid in the bushes by the door. Granted it was cold but it was worth it.

"14...15....ready or not here I come!"

Her voice peirced the surroundings as I coward in the vibrant greens.

Minuets passed and I lay on my belly in the Bush snickering as I heard cassi groan as she got found.

"urg why am I always the first to be found!"

"because cassi you hide in the same spots! And your laughter is not quiet."

"humph"

"haha gotcha!"

"but belllaa"

Bela and cassi caught danni sneaking out the doors to where I was hidden in the bushes.

I tried to stifle a gigle as the 3 sisters searched the back yard.

"oh little mouse where could you be?"

I held my breath as cassi looked in the Bush infront of me. Feeling my heart beat I stayed as still as I could. The branches rubbing against me.

I involuntarily moved and the Bush moved. Cassi signaled the others and they all gathered around me.

"ha.... HA! there you are!"

"gahhh, was that really needed"

They picked me up out of the Bush by the scruff of my top.

They all laughed and Bella told cassi that she had to count. A groan came from her as she sulked to the main foyer.

This round I hid in a cabinet in the kitchen. I was found second before I found Bella hunched in corner by an elevator.

A few more games followed and we all got tired slumping down in the bed by the fire.

"that was fun!"

Bella and dani agreed, cassi gave us a mischievous grin as she grabbed a pillow. Before I could say anything cassi hit bela over the head with it.

"oi! What was tha-"

I grabbed a pillow quickly and hit bela could finish that sentence.

"oh now your in for it"

Dani laughed and smacked cassi over the head with another pillow. Bela grabbed two pillows and sandwiched cassis head in it and a laugh muffled through.

We all fell on the bed after an epic pillow fight.

"now whose the champion pillow fighter!"

Danni playfully punched Belas arm and she raised her arm in a defensive Manor.

"that would be me"

I exclaimed and they all bombarded me with pillows, iglooing me.

"I'm back!"

We all looked at one another, Alcina was back.

"mother, were in the spare room"

Hearing the click of heals on the marble floor we all snickered at each other knowing what we were thinking as we held pillows in our arms.

The door opened and Alcina ducked in.

"ah now the-"

We all cut her off as we threw pillows at her. She stood up picking up the pillows we threw and laughed.

"well it seems like you've been having fun"

We all nodded, I opened my mouth to speak but I was cut off to a pillow being thrown at my face.

Everyone laughed.

"now as I was going to say before I was ever so rudely cut off, (y/n) can sleep over."

I jumped off the bed and hugged Alcina.

"thank you!"

"don't thank me, thank heisenberg. That fool said you needed some time with us"

I ran back over to the sisters and flopped on the bed.

Tonight is going to be the best, all my worries gone...
