Part 41: An Expected Guest

I was drenched, alcina grabbed the bucket we got her with and tipped it on me.

I felt so happy yet now I was so cold!

Alcina and the sisters were still at it when I heard the phone ring. I shouted for Alcina but she didn't respond. I should answer it.

It's ringing echoed through the castle till I got to the phone in alcinas room.

Looking around carefully, nobody was around nor can I hear anyone around.

"h-hello?"

"hello, who is this? Im here to speak to lady dimitres- wait (y/n) is that you?"

the voice sounded familiar to me, then i recognised it...

" Donna?!"

"Yes its me sis!!"

There was a loud screech in the background as i heard angie laughing, donna laughed and started to talk to me.

"My doll how have you been? It has been awhile has it not."

It been horrendous, but i couldnt tell her that could i as she might tell her.

"Ive been okay actually currently having a sleep over at aunt alcinas house, well castle."

I let out a dry laugh as donna sighed to herself over the phone.

"Look i get if you dont want to talk about it but if you need me please just call me ore even pop around for tea...i really dont mind which on you choose, just dont bottle your emotions okay."

Why was donna so nice to me, i want to tell her but like karl said it would have a larger affect than what i would expect. I understood what he meant yet donna seems so nice, but that was how she who should not be named was towards me.

"Doll? Are you still there?"

"Yeah yeah im still here just heard a weird noise like a knocking on the window."

I looked towards the window to see nothing but a single black feather laying on the windowsill. The wind seemed louder and so did donnas voice as i dropped the phone and stared at the black feather, i could hear my own heartbeat and breathing in my ears. Donna was calling to me over the phone but i could not move at all. I just stared at the glimmering feather under the morning sun.

"(y/n)!"

Alcinas voice sliced through my state and she was infront of my face, her eyes stared into my hollow ones with panic and empathy. I began to come back to my senses untill i saw that the feather was gone .

"Are you okay what happened, you've shaking. Somethings up i can tell, now tell me whats going on, if someones hurt you i swear they are not going to live another day, even if it means getting my daughters on them. The-"

I cut alcina off  with a hug and pointed to the phone, donna was still on the line as i could still hear her.

She walked over and picked it up, talking to donna alcina smiled and hung up on donna then came back to me.

"So what was all that about, if you dont mind me asking."

"Um...er- well"

" hey dont overthink it just let your mind do the talking and i will listen"

I took a deep breath in and did as she said i twisted the truth so i thought i saw a 'monster' climb up the wall. Alcina patted my head.

"See there we go, im sorry you got so scared. By the way karls downstairs waiting for you."

I smiled.

Hope
