My throats dry and my head is spinning, disorientation sets in. Eyes heavy as I slowly open them, the white light scorched them. Attempting to move I was weighted down, the cold metal rubbing against my wrists.

As my heart beat quickened and my breathing gets hitched in my throat, my eyes adjust to the light.

I see miranda stood back to me at another table filled with papers and medical equipment. She grabs a bottle and something else, fidgeting with my binds she turns around.

"you weren't ment to be awake yet, huh. I'm afraid I am going to have to do this the hard way then."

She walked over to me, my vision still wobbly as she towers over me. That's when I notice she has a needle in her right hand holding it against my arm.

"struggling will only make it worse child."

I resisted her, visible anger filled her face.

"still child it will only hurt more!"

I was incapable of speach as she placed her hand over my mouth.

"shhh remain still and silent or it will much, much worse for you."

Tears brimbed my broken eyes as my faith in all things shattered before me. That trust I had with her torn within seconds.

"now now child no need to cry. Your mother and father would want you to be strong"

I looked at her in the eyes, fear filled mine.

"your parents demise was merely collateral for you to get to me (y/n), I need you. You are what I've been looking for but your parents were keeping you from me!"

She sighed and pushed the needle in my flesh.

"now that's all I needed to do... For now anyways"

Burning gushed through my body as the liquid flooded my bloodstream. I looked at miranda as pain seared through me. She still had the needle, this time it was filled with red.

My head was an ocean of thoughts and feelings. Did she order that monster to kill my mother and father!

Tears started to fall down my cheeks.

"child this sentiment doesn't get you nowhere"

"s-so you l-lied to m-me..."

Fear turned into anger.

"all that outside the factory... A lie!"

"no it wasn't a lie, just a distortion of the truth. Also I did help you so to repay that dept you must help me. In hindsight you did this to your self... "

Words escaped me as she continued.

"--but for now rest you need it."

With that I passed out my vision turned off like a light.
