Part 24: Mother And Children

Me and Alcina got to the church early as it was only me her and Donna there. Locking eyes with Angie I heard a high pitched shrill of excitement

"(y/n)! Haiiiii oh may tehehe sit next to me!"

I saw Donna shake her head as Angie went on a slight ramble about how much she's missed me.

Miranda shot both Donna and angie a death glare.

"a-Angie c-calm down please"

Angie sighed and I hugged Donna, she smelt like baked goods and flowers. Then before I went to sit down as I can see miranda giving me daggers I hugged Angie. She smelt like wood and glue, not the good type.

Angie wined as I let her go, walking with Alcina to a bleacher. I sat next to Alcina head on her side as miranda stood giving me a stare.

"(y/n), please don't do that again miranda hates it when pleasantries are exchanged infront of her. I don't want you getting caught in her... Personal drama so to speak"

Her voice was low and soothing, yet it put me on edge. What 'personal drama' could an almighty priestess go through.

Seconds after I finished that thought the church doors bust open and heavy footsteps echoed in the tattered Hall.

"so mirander why call this meeting? Huh."

It was Karl, his voice was filled with sarcasm. I didn't even need to look at him to know.

"Lord heisenberg please sit I will explain shortly, though you should know.."

He huffed and sat down where he usually sat. I turned head to look at him, he looked at me and rolled his eyes. Is he still mad at me for loosing the bracelet?

"aunt Alcinaaa..."

"yes?"

"you know you love meee..."

"child I have raised 3 daughters you think I am oblivious..."

"you loves me lottsss"

"urg yes I do now what do you want"

"may I go sit next to uncle Karl.... He seems to be angry"

"ha your the only person I know who would want to be in a meter radius of that man thing, even when he's not angry!"

"soo is that a yes?"

Before she could grab my arm and tell me to sit down I was gone.

"idiots, both of them"

I heard her sigh as I walked towards a grumpy karl. He looked at me well through me, ignoring my wave.

Miranda stared at me as I sat next to Karl. I slid up him on the bleacher. I whisper to him.

"psst uncle karlll...."

I get no response

" uncle Karl...."

Still no response

"UNCLE KARLL PSSST"

I whisper shout In his ear.

"WHAT IS IT (Y/N)!"

I sit back in the bleacher.

"no need to shout... What's the matter with you?"

"nothing now leave me alone... Okay shoo"

I act offended putting my hand in my chest. Looking around the room I notice moreau, he's hunched in the corner out of sight. I can hear him laughing at me.

"hey moreau, you seeing this!"

He nodds and Karl puts his head in his hands.

"for.fucks.sake"

I laugh and then i hear.

"SILENCE, I will not appreciate this insubordination from you all. I waited patiently for silence but I got nothing."

I jumped as she shouted now eyeing her intently.

"now that u have your attention let's begin, the child will now be allocated a week with Lord moreau. Like with Alcina Donna and Karl. After moreau I shall have the child a day. After that they will move according to who they wish to spend time with. Am I clear?"

"bla bla bla yes you are now may I take my leave before I hit a child."

Everyone looks at karl with a disgusted look on their face. I just hug him.

"awe my uncle Karl grumpy, I knows you loves me! How can you be grumpy with me!"

I give him the puppy eyes and he just rolls his.

"watch me kiddo just watch..."

With that he storms out leaving me in a state of awe.

"oh"

Moreau came out of the corner and hobbled over to me. Miranda disappeared as I looked away. Donna and angie were beginning to leave. I gave them a smile and a wave goodbye, so did Alcina as she left with a disappointed face.

It was now just me and moreau.

"s-sorry (y/n)"

"it's okay, shall we go back to yours?"

He nodded and we left the church.
