Part 21: Phone Calls

-(y/n) PoV-

My eyes fluttered open to see aunt Alcina towering over me as I had my head on her lap. She was staring into the fire and felt me stir so she looked down at me. Her oyellow eyes reflected the warm light.

"my dear child how are you feeling now?"

"warmer, thats for sure."

She let out a hearty laugh and I sat up. I was about to stand up however my legs felt like jelly and fell back down onto the seat.

"careful, rest there I will get you some food and drink."

I stayed where I was and watched the lady leave. I lay back down staring at the ceiling. My thoughts went to Karl and what he was up to....

-Karl's PoV-

Shit fuck balls! Why can't I do anything right! This fucking machine won't work!

I kicked the amalgamation of flesh and machine. SHIIITT pain over took my senses. I hopped on my non crippled foot, why did I kick the metal leg!

I hobbled down to the chair and sat down. I lent back calming my breathing down to help the pain.

I closed my eyes, I haven't heard from (y/n) in a while. If super sized bitch lays a hand on them, she won't have any hands at all.

I spun on my chair to see the dusty phone, I really need to clean before they come back...

I dialed the castle number, are they okay, I bloody hope so or so help me...

-(y/n) PoV-

I was taken out of my thoughts as Alcina and cassi came in bearing food. The smell made me happy, so was my stomach.

(a la time skip as I don't know what to write xD)

Lady took the plates out of the room walst cassi stayed with me and we spoke.

"so little mouse, how do you feel about weapons?"

"indifferent in all fairness... Why?"

"good, here you go, to keep."

Cassi handed me a blade, shiny and clean. It was bent, it looked like the one she threatened me with.

"it's called a sycle, I will teach you how to use it later date, you need to recover first"

She ruffled my hair before we heard a shout come from down the hall. Cassi vanished and I was once again left alone on the opera Hall.

I began to make my way to my room but cassi grabbed my arm and took me to her mother's quarters, I still had the blade in my hand.

"mother, they are here"

"thank you daughter you may leave"

Cassi took the blade and gave me a wink before she left. I stood there as Alcina had her back to me, she had the phone in her hand.

"now look here man thing I have them here next to me...... Ha you don't believe me! Talk to them then!"

Alcina abruptly turned around and handed me the phone.

"h-hello? Who is this?"

"oh thank fuck, kiddo your okay! Its me karl!"

I felt a wash of calmness, it's Uncle Karl.

"uncle Karl! Heellooo! How are you?"

"I'm fine Im fine! How are you, did they hurt you, I swear if they did-"

"woah they have done nothing like that borrow teach me how to read complex sentences and play the piano, so no need to worry."

I heard a sigh from him, I rolled my eyes and smiled. It's so nice to hear him, it's been awhile.

"I'm glad to hear you okay, do you still have leah and the locket along with the bracelet.?"

Shit the bracelet I lost it leah is still in my room and I have the locket on now.

"well about that I have everything borrow the bracelet...."

The line went dead, ha great.
