Villain Deku x Reader

New Start

Izuku's POV:

She was silent as we started to walk home. She was happy to see me, which I was glad to see, but it broke my heart that she was upset. I already knew what had happened at the office, but she didn't know that. I would be getting revenge on that Yamamoto soon, but y/n needed me right now.

I swayed our hands as we walked. "Do you want to talk about it?" I wanted her to feel comfortable with me, after all she would be with me forever now, she needed to feel comfortable.

She looked reluctant. "I'm thinking about quitting and finding another job." I perked up at that thought.

If she didn't work than I wouldn't have to worry about her. I could easily finance everything for her, I could even find an apartment for the both of us. "You know I make plenty in the hero business to provide for the both of us." I would love to come home to her everyday in our own apartment.

She shrugged. "I bet, but that doesn't seem fair. I should pay for some things."

I gripped her hand tighter. "Do you really want to be an accountant forever though?"

I could see she was thinking. "I don't know. I mean it's what I went to school for, so I guess."

We stopped at a crosswalk. I turned to her and caressed her cheek. "If you could do anything what is it you would do?"

"I guess I would love to be an author." She got a big smile on her face. "Telling stories about what it's like to be born without a superpower in a world with superpowered people. About how people take advantage of you and just think you are helpless. The world wasn't always like this and I think people have forgotten about it."

I pulled my mask down and kissed her cheek. "I think that is a wonderful idea." I pulled my mask back into place and we started walking again. "It would be easy to do that you know. I do know a lot of people in the industry."

She got even more excited. "Do you really think so?"

"I know so! Not only that you could work from home! No more office or horrible bosses." I paused and pretended to think for a moment. "But I could see you getting stir crazy in that tiny apartment of yours." I snapped my fingers. "I know, we could find a bigger apartment together!"

"A bigger apartment? Are you sure that you want to move in with me? We have only been together for a short time, how can you be sure?" She gripped my hand tighter.

I took her other hand in mine. "Of course I'm sure, Puppy! If I weren't, I wouldn't have even brought up the idea." I pressed my forehead against hers. "I have never met a girl like you, and I want to know you more. Just think about it, okay?"

She gave me a big smile. "I will." I was a bit disappointed that she didn't say yes right away but I knew that eventually she will say yes. "Maybe I could give the writing thing a try, I did take five days off at work."

I got a big grin on my face. "Five days? Really? We could do so much in those five days. We could go on a real date, well maybe a real date. I do need to stay inconspicuous." I took her by the hand and started to walk faster. "I'm so excited to spend some real time with you. What do you want to do?"

She was dragging behind me. "Ah, Izuku! Slow down! I'm going to trip!"

I stopped walking and pulled her close. "I'm sorry, but I'm just so excited!"

"I can see that. Hmmmm how about we take a walk on the beach later tonight. If it's dark, there will be less people there." She bopped my nose. "Does that sound good to you?"

I hugged her tightly. "I would love that, Puppy.

We decided to walk home instead of taking the train. I was elated having her hand in mine. I gently swung our hands as we walked. She seemed so much happier than when she was in the office. I needed to convince her to quit that horrible job. It would be so much better for the both of us. She wouldn't have the stress of an office job and I would have better control over where and what she does.
