PoV: Hange
If I would have been able to see properly right now, I'd have blankly stared at Levi, but since that wasn't possible I jokingly licked the hand that was covering my mouth and getting the reaction I wanted. Him pulling it back and giving a 'tch' noise.
"What the hell- You're disgusting."Yep. Exactly what I meant.
A laugh escaped me when getting that said back, so I searched for his shoulder and put my arm around it, grinning brightly.
"Glad to have been there in need, and you're welcome for the small distraction." I went to poke his cheek, but instead of that it was most likely his ear."I swear to god, I'll smack you when I can see again." Levi responded dryly, probably rolling his eyes at me right now. I swear I could see it in my head.
"Is that your kink now? Good to know." A snicker left me whilst saying the last word, getting a light hit to the back of my head for it before feeling my hair being gripped by him, causing me to go a bit into my knees when he pulled me down to probably his own height. Man. I couldn't even see anything here.
"Shut up and think, also no, you didn't distract me. I am just simply unfocused right now because I can't help but expect that this will crush the two of us on some point." Levi's breath hit my own face whilst he spoke, guessing that we were only inches apart in this moment and I was right.
"You could have just said that right away," One of my hands went up to his cheek. It was an automatic movement by now so I could even solve it in sleep, no light necessary for that.
"Still. That won't happen. We're more or less save here for now, but I bet the war will go on for longer than an hour so we might as well try to get comfortable here for a while, shall we?" By now, I was able to feel Levi slightly lean into the touch, his left hand resting on my waist as well."How would you get comfortable in a cave? It's dark and too closed up and it all reminds me of the shit that happened back then- God dammit I can't think straight-," he sighed again, his grips tightening a small bit repeatedly, but at least it wasn't harmful and more as if he needed reassurance in his words.
Smiling warmly, even though he wouldn't see it, I let my hand go to his chin, holding him more or less in place in case he wouldn't want to listen.
"Then don't. We don't need to think at all right now, see it as a mind clearing. Everything is dark with nothing to be seen, no responsibilities either. You're free to be how you want to be. I'm not going to judge you for anything and you know that. Whatever this is between us, nothing could affect it negatively by the given circumstances right now. So please, Levi, don't overthink everything for once."A silence grew between us for several seconds, almost getting uncomfortable after maybe a minute.
Did I say something wrong? Perhaps I offended him with my words? Or maybe-I couldn't even properly finish my thoughts when I already felt Levi lean forward until our lips would connect, resulting in me closing my eyes right away and returning the kiss, staying like that for a moment before he backed off once more.
"Hange." The black haired one spoke up again, his voice tone lower than before.
"What are we?"
