"The test came back positive."

Matt's POV: When I heard my sister say that her COVID test came back positive, I was furious. Not just at her but Antonio. If he had reason to believe that my sister (and him) were going to maybe test positive for COVID, he had no business being here regardless of how much he wanted to be here to support us. Gabby is pregnant and Louie is part of a minority population (whom have been seen as more at risk of both catching and dying of this disease). Looking at Gabby, I went to speak to her. "Go upstairs to our room with Louie now. Get changed and put this in the wash."

Gabby looked at me when I said that, completely understanding why I was scared. "Bye Antonio." Antonio was confused when she said that but went to go hug her when I stopped him. "DON'T TOUCH HER!" Walking over to the kitchen, I went to grab a rag and covered my mouth. Antonio then stared at me. "Matt, calm..." I then looked at him. "Antonio, just stop talking...the more you talk, the more air particles your spread into the air. Now, get the fuck out of my house!" Antonio just stared at me. "Why are you acting this way?" I then looked at him.

"Get out before I call the cops. Effective immediately, you three are not welcomed in our home." Antonio looked at me and knew that I was getting really mad. "Matt, I'm sorry okay?" I then shook my head. "Antonio, you know how much we want these babies...so do you Christie. If there was even a chance for you to expose us...why in the world did you think this was a good idea for you to come over? I don't give a fuck if we are worried or scared, you should always put your family's health first. What if I came over and did this to you and your kids?!?"

Antonio shut up when I said that and nodded. I then turned to look at Gabby. "Gabby, when they leave...I have to make a call to the commissioner and I have to make a call to everybody at Firehouse 51. Since their test must've taken a few days, we have been in contact with the entire house since we saw them. We've seen them quite frequently. That means that the entire firehouse might have been infected through us. Sorry babe, I want to be with you right now and I will be with you for a while considering we need to isolate. Just breathe and I will be right there."

Gabby nodded when I said that, seemingly completely in agreement with me. "I will go check your e-mail for COVID protocols. The CFD sent them I thing." I nodded and agreed with her. "Just go upstairs." She nodded and agreed with me, doing as she was told. Antonio then looked at me. "I'm sorry Matt." I then nodded when he said that. "You will be if anything happens to Me, Louie, Gabby or the twins. You do not contact us until we call you. Antonio, you really think I need this right now? I am already stressed on a daily basis...now at home!"

Antonio nodded when I said that and understood. "Listen, call me when you are ready." I nodded and agreed. "And don't think I am not mad at you too Christie. Everything I said to Antonio applies just as much to you and more. You know how much I have always wanted kids. How could you do this to me?!? Get Violet tested. If she's negative...I can watch her or send her to Jim's place okay? Just promise me you'll stay safe." Antonio and Christie both agreed with me as they walked out of the house to leave us be. Meanwhile, I just locked the door and sighed.

Now for the hard part, I have to tell my boss and employees that they are required to get tested for COVID-19 since my idiot brother-in-law is positive for COVID-19. Grabbing my phone, I went to call the commissioner and sighed. "Grissom, I have some bad news..." I then sighed and went to tell him what happened with my brother. I just hoped that he wasn't mad at me. Once I was done with him, I called all of my officers at the house to tell them that the house was closed for the next 2 weeks in order to allow everybody to quarantine and get tested. I was just glad that Grissom agreed with me and wasn't mad at me. God, what a nightmare.
