Chapter 309

Jay's POV: After answering my brother's call, I went to get in bed with Erin and Champ before wrapping my arm around her. "Hey bro." Will then sighed. "How are you guys doing and where are you guys?" I then smiled. "We are at this hotel by Midway. We are here quarantining." He agreed with me when I said that. "Okay, that's good. Probably better considering you live in a condo complex." Erin nodded and sighed when he said that. "For now. I think that we might take this opportunity to move to a house since we are having twins."

Will laughed when I said that and agreed with me "By the way, I do not babysit alone. I need someone to help me while they are still young." I laughed when he said that. "Who said I was ever going to trust you with our kids?" Will chuckled. "Because unlike you, I actually have experience raising a son. Remember, I helped Natalie raise Owen for a while." I nodded and agreed with him. "Right, the kid that would've been your stepson." Will groaned. "Can we stop talking about that? I've forgiven you and it's over. Right now, let's concentrate on our health."

I agreed with him when he said that. "How are you feeling in your pregnancy Erin? Anything you need to talk about with a doctor?" Erin laughed when he said that. "Okay, never ask me that again because that is not happening." I was confused when she said that. "Why wouldn't you want to talk to my brother about medical stuff? He can help us anytime." Erin then looked at me. "So you are okay with him knowing what's going on down there and possibly having me..." I then understood what she meant and shook my head. "Oh hell no!" 

Will and Erin both laughed when I said that. "My thoughts exactly. I was like, did you really just say that you would be okay with me seeing your wife naked?" I smiled at the thought of that. "I wouldn't mind seeing her naked though." Erin then got the hint and went to grab my hand. "You say that to your brother again and you are not getting any action during this entire hotel stay." Erin then went to get up so that she could get changed. Meanwhile, Will just laughed. "Bro, you're in trouble!" I then laughed. "Dude, shut up...at least I get action."

Will was about to say something when he just shut up because that was the truth. "God, I hate it when you say something and I can't say anything back because it's the truth." I laughed and agreed with him. "Listen, you stay safe okay? We don't need to have another Halstead possibly having COVID. However, can you please send me anything you know about COVID and pregnancy...you know, whether it can..." Will then got the gist of what I was saying without me having to say it considering I didn't want to worry Erin. "Of course man, I will do that."

I then sighed. "Listen, just do it discreetly okay? I don't want to worry Erin." Will agreed with me. "Sure thing. Talk later okay?" I agreed and then went to hang up before going to walk over to the washroom where Erin was. I wanted to know if she heard anything and unfortunately, she did based on how she was rubbing her stomach. "You think that COVID could do something to the babies?" Turning her around, I went to step close to her and just held her in my arms. "I have no clue whether it can or can't. All I know is that I want to be as informed as possible."

Erin nodded when I said that and sighed. Stepping close to her, I went to wrap my arms around her before kissing her forehead. "Erin, I am here if you need to talk okay? I already told Hank that while we are here...I am not going to work because I know how scared you are. I told him that I need to concentrate all of my attention on you and the baby because of how stressed you are going to be during this time. So please babe remember that I am here for you...whatever you need me to do, I will try and do it from the comfort of our room."

Stepping close to me, Erin when to wrap her arms around my back and just looked up at me. Looking into her gorgeous Hazel eyes. Putting my hand on her neck, I went to kiss her softly before picking her up in my arms and going to set her down on the counter. "Tell me what you need Erin and I am going to give it to you." Erin them smiled as she went to grab my head. Kissing me softly, she just looked into my eyes. "All I want to right now is my husband in bed." 

I smiled when she said that. "Then that is exactly what you are going to get." Going to take off my shirt, I smirked as I went to bring Erin close to me before kissing her softly. Erin then went to wrap her arms around my neck while I grabbed her legs and wrapped them around my waist so that I could pick her up in my arms. Doing just that, I went to carry her out of the washroom and into the main part of our hotel suite so that I could give her some attention in bed. "I love you Mrs. Halstead." Erin smiled when I said that and nodded. "I love you too Mr. Halstead."

Carrying her towards the hotel bed, I smirked when I went to lay her down when I heard Champ yelp. Looking at him as I broke the kiss, I sighed. "Go lay down on your bed okay buddy? Daddy's okay." Champ then got up off of our bed while I laid Erin down in bed. "You want to continue or just cuddle?" Erin then smiled at me before sitting up and going to grab my belt. "What do you think I want to do? You got my attention now." I nodded when she said that before feeling her take off my belt and then helping me with my jeans. "God, this is such a tease babe!"

Looking up at me, she just shook her head. "You don't get to say that considering you tease me whenever you want around shirtless. I mean, be realistic babe...what pregnant wife doesn't want her hunky, muscular, veteran husband in bed whenever he is shirtless." I smiled when she said that before letting her go. I then went to take off my jeans before setting them down at the end of the bed. "Let me just get you undressed and then I am going to join you." Erin nodded and smiled when I said that, watching as I went to get her undressed very carefully.

Erin smiled when I did that before going to grab my neck as we just looked at each other. Tugging my lips down to hers, she kissed me slowly and just kept me close to her. "You are going to be the best father in the entire world. I already know that just based on how careful you are getting me undressed." I smiled when she said that and nodded as we held each other close. Continuing to get us both undressed, I then watched as Erin moved to lay down in bed...waiting for me to join her and get comfortable in bed.  But first, I had to take my pants off. Wonder if she wants me right away thought. "Boxers on or off right now?" 

Erin then looked at me and smiled. "We have a lot of time so, just stay in your boxers for now and join me in bed." I nodded and smiled when she said that before going to open the covers so that I could join her in bed. Bringing her close to me, I smiled when I felt her slip her legs in between mine and put her hand on my neck. "I love you Jay and I know this is not the best way to get a romantic moment in a hotel but...I wouldn't trade it for anything in the entire world." I nodded and agreed with her when she said that. Going to kiss her again, I groaned as my phone rang.

Erin however wasn't having any of it. Grabbing my neck, she looked at me and smiled. "We are in our post-wedding honeymoon time right now..." Grabbing my arms, she went to wrap them around her waist. "That means, when you are in bed with me...you do not answer your phone." I nodded and smiled when she said that before going to kiss her softly. Taking it slow with her as I went to grab her neck, I smiled as me and Erin just took some time to be newlyweds right now instead of intelligences officers. And god did I love this time where I got to kiss my wife in bed.
