Matt's POV: Once I finished getting dressed, I smiled when I made my way downstairs to see my mom making some pancakes for breakfast. "Nothing like a homemade breakfast from my mom." I then went to walk up behind her and went to kiss her cheek before going to open the snack cupboard to grab some chips. My mom then turned to look at me when I grabbed the chips. "Matthew...put those away. I am already making us some breakfast to eat. So please, no snacking...you are going to set a bad example for Louie." I nodded and agreed, putting them away when my mom looked at me. "Okay, how nervous are you?" I then sighed and laughed. "How can you tell that I am nervous." My mom then walked over to me and did up a button.
I smiled when she did that. "Thanks mom. And yes, I am extremely nervous. I mean, my late best friend's wife is coming over to meet me...her half-brother whose mother just so happened to be the man who killed her father. No offence but, that's the truth right?" My mom sighed when I said that and nodded. "Unfortunately. You know I really regret it now. I mean, he should've met Louie and your twins." I nodded and agreed with my mom. "Yeah, that's a hard part. God, he would probably be so proud of me being Battalion Chief." She nodded and smiled. "Just like I am." I smiled when she said that. "By the way, be on your best behavior with Christie please."
I nodded and agreed. "I am probably going to interact more with my godsons/new nephews rather than her. Do you know if Violet is coming too?" My mom nodded. "I called her and told her that I expected to see my granddaughter today." I nodded and agreed with her when I heard a knock on the door. "I told Heather to come whenever she wants so...I am not sure weather it's her or Christie." Walking over, I went to see who it was and smiled when I saw my sister. "Hey Christie." Christie then walked up to me and went to hug me. "God, I am so glad that you are safe. By the way, this is creepy...our dad having another kid we just found out about."
I nodded and agreed with her. "By the way, what's with wanting to meet her right away?" I then smiled when she said that. "I actually already know her." Christie then looked at me. "No, she's one of your ex-girlfriends?" I then stared at her. "Okay, no! Her name is Heather Casey-Darden." Christie then looked at me. "Oh, Darden as in..." I nodded. "Andy Darden and my godsons Ben and Griffin. Oh and they just so happen to be my nephews now." That's when I turned to look at Violet and went to hug her. "You are still addicted to your phone eh Violet?" Violet then looked up at me and nodded when I heard Antonio. "Sorry, god it was hard to find a parking spot."
I then looked at Antonio. "Hey man, didn't expect you to come." I then went to shake his hand and smiled. "A chance to see my sister and spend time with both my nephew and girlfriend...yes please. By the way, how are you feeling about having a half-sister?" I then laughed. "Who's late husband just so happens to be Andy Darden. Oh and my nephews just so happen to also be my godsons." I then remembered something. "Listen Antonio, do you mind going to check on Louie. I just thought about something me and my mom need to talk about with my sister." He agreed and nodded. "Sure thing." Taking off his boots and his mask, he walked away.
Meanwhile, my sister just looked at me. "What do you need to tell me about?" I then sighed and looked at her. "Another sister of ours." Christie then looked at me when I said that. "We have another half-sister?" I then sighed and shook my head when our mom walked over. "No, it's Matt's twin sister that I lost while pregnant." Christie then stared at my mom when she said that. "What?"
