I slowly wake up, my head nestled into Loki's bare chest. It takes a moment before everything comes rushing back to me. The training room, Tony's curiosity, the absolute bliss I felt with Loki as we-A smile creeps onto my face, and I slowly move my head to look up at him. I see his beautiful green eyes are already watching me, and I giggle. "Watching me sleep, are we?" I ask, and he gets a small smirk.
"I couldn't tell if you were awake. You weren't screaming." He says jokingly, and it hits me. No nightmares. After weeks straight of nightmares every night, I had none.
"I didn't have any nightmares." I say in happy disbelief.
"If this is what it takes to keep your nightmares away, then I will be glad to do that every night." I scowl and playfully hit his chest, making him chuckle. He kisses the top of my head, and I sigh contentedly.
"Can we just.... just stay in this moment?" I ask. "Not worrying about SHIELD or family or, well, anything else?" He doesn't speak for a moment, and I can feel one of his hands playing with a strand of my hair.
"I wish we could, Love." He says. "But we do seem to have
responsibilities to attend to." As if on cue, Jarvis pipes up."Miss Crest, Miss Potts would like to know what time you wished to go Christmas shopping." I sigh, and Loki chuckles.
"They just have perfect timing." I mumble. "Tell Pep I'll be ready to go in about an hour, Jarvis." I say out loud, snuggling closer into Loki, not wanting to leave the warmth of the bed to go shower. The bed was warm, and the shower was warm, but that little stretch between the two was not.
"Yes Miss Crest." Jarvis responds. Loki looks down at me as I curl up into his side.
"That doesn't look like you're getting ready, Love." He says.
"I'm having a war with myself." I say with a yawn. "I don't want to get up, but on the other hand, I really, really want to go Christmas shopping." I say. There is a moment of silence.
"What is Christmas?" Loki asks suddenly, and I shoot straight up into a sitting position, looking down at him in shock. He looks up at me, raising his eyebrows. "What did I say wrong?" He asks cautiously.
"You.... You don't know what Christmas is?" I ask. He slowly shakes his head. "No. Nope. You can't not know what Christmas is. That, that is just wrong." I say. I get up and walk over to the bathroom. "Okay, you know what, I'm going to take a shower, you're going to get dressed, and we are sorting this Christmas thing out whether you like it or not." I quickly shut the bathroom door, leaving a shocked Loki sitting in my bed.

"You ready to hit the food court?" I ask Pepper as we walk around the mall. "Because I am starving." We both wear pretty big sunglasses to help hide our faces, and we each have a few bags in both hands.
"Oh jeeze yes. Shopping can really take it out of you." She huffs, and we change direction, heading towards the smell of food.
"Maybe my training can just be shopping?" I muse, making Pepper laugh. We had both found really good gifts for everyone, and I had found the perfect one for Loki. I had also gotten a few gag gifts, which Pep and I had laughed over.
"I'll get the food if you stay here with bags." Pepper says, and I nod. She walks away, and I my phone starts ringing, 'Iron man' By black Sabbath coming from the speakers.
"Hey Tony, what's up?" I ask when I pick up. "Is there a problem at the tower?" I hear him sigh.
"What makes you think something's wrong?" He asks.
