"I'm going to miss you Heimdall." I say with a smile, walking up the stairs and throwing my arms around him. He stiffens in surprise before giving me a one armed hug with a chuckle. When he lets go, I continue. "I mean, I only met you for a few moments and you can see whatever I do whenever I do it, but you seem pretty awesome." He gives another laugh before I skip back down the stairs to Loki and Thor. Clint stands next to me.

"I will miss your presence as well Lady Crest." Heimdall replies. "As strange as you may be." I grin widely.

"I embrace my strangeness thank you very much." I reply. He nods once.

"Well, it is time for you to go back to Midguard." Frigga says, approaching us. She gives Thor a hug before turning to Loki. As they embrace, she whispers something in his ear. Something that sounds oddly like 'good luck my son.' What does he need luck with? Frigga then turns to me, a soft smile on her face. She quickly envelopes me in a hug. I wrap my arms around her as well.

"Watch him." She whispers in my ear. "He needs you. He loves you so much. Protect him." I give her a soft smile.

"I love him to. I'll try my hardest. My absolute best." She smiles back at me before letting me go.

"Time to depart." Frigga nods once at Heimdall's words and steps back. Heimdall plunges the sword down, and the portal starts to spin, faster and faster. The four of us are yanked back, and I'm blinded by the rainbow light again. We hurtle, back through space and back to earth. Back to home.

When we land, I'm jarred and land on my hands and knees. I see Clint stumble, but Thor and Loki land steadily on their feet, having done this so many times before. Loki quickly comes over and helps me to my feet. "Are you alright?" He asks. I nod, brushing the dust off my knees and hands. He quickly looks me over, and I swipe his hand off of my shoulder.

"Loki, I'm fine. Calm down." I say with a laugh.

"The door's locked." We both look over to Clint, who is standing at the entrance from the roof back into the tower. I roll my eyes.

"Jarvis?"

"Welcome home Miss Crest. What can I do for you?" I smile at the familiar electronic voice.

"Can you unlock the rooftop door for us?" I hear a click, and Clint opens it. "Thanks Jarvis."

"You're welcome Miss." I smile as we walk into the darkened tower. I walk in the dark rooms, flipping on lights and looking around. It seemed to be deserted.

"Jarvis..."

"Yes Miss?" Clint walks up to me, looking slightly confused.

"Where..... Where is everyone?" I ask. "The tower looks empty." I flip the lights on in the living room.

"They have been gone for a few days Miss." I frown as I walk over to the bar. Loki and Thor enter from the kitchen door.

"They must have been gone on a mission while we were gone." Clint mutters, disappearing into the kitchen. Probably for some fattening junk food. I duck down and grab a soda out of the mini-fridge, popping it open and taking a sip. I missed that sugary carbonated drink that was most likely extremely bad for my health. Oh well.

"It must have been important if he needed all of them." I say. "Tony must've sent Pepper away too. How dangerous was it?" Clint shrugs and flops down on the couch with a big bag of Cheetos.

"Well, at least we get a few days off." He says, grabbing the remote. "We've been on a different planet for a few days, I think we deserve it." I breathe out a laugh.

"Absolutely." I agree. Flopping down next to him. Loki sits down on my other side, and Thor on Clint's other side. We sit there in silence for a few minutes

"So what now?"

"BORED!" I make a shooting motion at the wall of the living room. "BORED!" I do it again. Loki looks at me curiously over his book, raising an eyebrow.

"What are you doing?"

"Making a fandom reference, what does it look like?" I ask. I fall over the back of a chair so that I'm upside down.

"Fandom?" He asks.

"It's a.... You know what? I'm too bored to explain."

"Wouldn't that cure your boredom?"

"That's not the point here." I mutter. We've been alone in the tower for a few days, and we were all getting antsy. Clint was starting to think about contacting Fury to see where exactly the rest of the team was. I flip over the chair so I am standing on my feet again. "The point is that I'm bored."

"I got that much." I roll my eyes at his sarcasm.

"Miss Crest, Mr Barton has request both of your presences." Jarvis says. "Director Fury has arrived with Agent Hill and Agent Coulson and his team." Loki looks at me.

"All of them?" I ask.

"Yes Miss." Loki stands up, setting his book to the side.

"Well. This must be really urgent..." I trail off before we both go strait for the elevator. We step inside, and my foot taps anxiously on the floor. If all of them were here, something must be wrong. Really, really wrong. The elevator opens, and I see all of the agents, along with Clint and Thor standing in the living room. "What's wrong?" I ask, seeing worried faces. Well. Fury was just as emotionless as ever.

"How long have you guys been back?" Phil asks.

"About three days... why?" I ask worriedly. Fury sighs.

"Because the rest of the avengers went missing. Two weeks ago."
