I pace the length of the training room, nervously waiting. Odin had made all of us leave the hall, except Frigga, to announce Loki's verdict. He had made me think he was going to tell all of us, but just said Loki's name, and nodded at Thor to get the rest of us to leave. I was ninety nine percent sure that Odin was trying to give me a heart attack. He could not just act like he was going to tell us what he decided and then make us wait! Who does that? (AN:me)

"Lady Crest. It will be okay." I look up as Thor puts his hand on my shoulder, stopping me mid-pace.

"I just worry about him Thor." I sigh. He nods.

"As do I. But there is nothing we can do for him now." He says.

"But its been at least a half an hour! How much longer are we going to have to wait?"

"Not long." Clint says from a few feet away, looking at something behind me. I frown, my eyebrows furrowing.

"What do you-" I'm cut off by a pair of arms wrapping around my waist. I yelp and jump in surprise, flipping around to see a widely grinning Loki. He cups my face in his hands and kisses me. I push back slightly after a moment and raise an eyebrow at him. "I take it that it went well." I say, slightly breathless. He smiles again, a real, true smile. One that hardly ever comes out. He leans down and kisses me again. I break it off again after a moment with a laugh. "Loki! What did he say?"

"He said I was to return to Midguard." He says. I look at him confused. I didn't think he'd be so happy about that. I feel a tap on my shoulder, and I turn to see Loki standing behind me. "With my powers."

"Is that all?" Thor asks. The fake Loki vanishes, and the real Loki shakes his head.

"While I'm still here I have to have a guard around me at all times. But other than that, I'm basically free." I smile, as does Thor.

"When do we go back?" Clint asks. I roll my eyes.

"Just can't wait to get back under Fury's reign, can you Clint?" I ask, and he scoffs. I get a sneaky smile on my face. "Or maybe you just want to get back to Nat, huh?" His head snaps up and he glares at me.

"Seems like you're right." Loki comments, and Clint rolls his eyes.

"You guys are nuts." He says, shaking his head.

"He attempted to invade Earth, and I was tortured for years on end. What did you expect? Sanity?" I ask with a laugh. Clint rolls his eyes again with a chuckle.

"That is honestly the last thing I expected." He says, and I turn back to Loki.

"So?" I ask. "When are we going back?"

"Soon." Thor answers. "Tonight."

"So soon?" Clint asks, looking up surprised.

"The Allfather," Sif says, and I turn. I had forgotten she was in the room. "Does not like Midguardians in Asguard. He allowed you both because of the trial. It does not surprise me that he wants you gone so soon."

"What about the frost giants?" I ask. Loki's face went from gleeful to blank in a second.

"He does not completely believe me." Loki says in a low voice. "But he says he will be checking on them. Not much else."

"Odin's a jerk." I mutter under my breath. Loki hears me and lets out a laugh before I lightly elbow him in the side to get him to shut up. He quiets but the smirk stays on his face.
