Loki and I were married on a warm afternoon in August. I had been rudely woken up that morning by Pepper, Nat, and Hel coming in and dumping ice water over my head. I then proceeded to use that same water to douse them straight back, which stated a war. It was only stopped when Hel screamed "We need to start getting ready for the wedding!" And it hit me.

        I was getting married today.

The girls shoved me into my shower so I could get cleaned up while they went to their rooms and did the same. I took the longest, hottest shower that they would allow before they started threatening to beat the door down and come in. I wasn't filled with nerves like most women. I was.... I'm not sure. I was anxious. I couldn't wait.

"Nat and Pepper doing your hair, and I'm doing your makeup." Hel says. Ever since Loki had proposed, Hel, Fenrir, Sleipnir, and Jo had stayed at the tower. I had spent more time with them, and we had all grown closer. "Come on Mom. every time you glance down at that you mess me up. The longer this takes, then the more likely it is that we might have to delay the wedding." Oh, and she had also started calling me mom. It sent happiness through me every time. Jo had started to do the same. Fenrir and Sleipnir were still hesitant.

"Don't you dare." I playfully threaten, poking her in the stomach. She rolls her eyes and laughs. Even with her  playful jab, I couldn't help continuing to fiddle with my engagement ring. It was absolutely beautiful. A dark silver band covered with intricate patterns. There was a emerald in the center, surrounded by a swirling pattern of the tiny green gems.

"Mom! Seriously!" Hel exclaims again. Behind me, Pepper grabs my head, yanking it back into an upright position.

"I will kick your butt right now. I don't care if I don't have training." Pepper practically hisses. Pregnancy hormones were doing a number on her. She was about five months in, and only just now starting to seriously show. When she had told Tony, you would have thought someone had offered him the world. His eyes lit up, he practically jumped around the room, and started reading baby books the next day.

"I will stab you with this hair pin I swear." Nat says. "We only have a few hours, and we have to get ready too you know." I had made Hel my maid of honor, and Nat and Pepper my bridesmaids. We had decided on a small wedding and reception, and we only had about fifty people coming. Somehow, Pepper and Tony made sure it was still going to be extravagant. Meaning expensive.

Loki had made, surprisingly, Thor his best man, and Clint and Tony his groomsmen. I don't know who I expected Loki to pick, but those three surprised me. Or maybe he was trying to be matchmaker for Nat and Clint. None of Loki's sons wanted to be a groomsman, so maybe that was why. "Have you guys seen the wedding bands?" I ask, looking up at Hel. She nods.

"I think everyone except you has." Nat says. Loki had gone to Asgard with Thor to inform his parents, and Frigga had insisted on having the wedding bands Asgardian made. She was here today, but I wasn't sure where, along with Odin, Sif, the Warriors Three, and Heimdall. I had made sure to have Loki invite Heimdall, because he was going to see it anyway. He might as well be here. Well, we had invited him, but he had refused to leave his post. He sent along a wedding gift instead.

"Well, if anyone had let me have a say in anything in this wedding." I mutter, and the three of them laugh. Someone knocks at the bathroom door, but when I try to turn and see who was there as Nat opened it, Pepper yanked my head back into place. I hear Nat open the door a few inches. "Nat, who's there?" I ask. Sif walks into my line of vision, and I smile.

"Hello Sophie." She says. I smile.

"You look good in our 'petty' Midguardian clothes." She looks down at the dress she's wearing, inspecting it. "So what's up?" She frowns, looking up at the ceiling.
