I walk out of the elevator that went up Stark Towers, looking at the room around me. The hospital had kept me overnight for observation, and when I had talked about going back to my room at SHIELD, I was told that I lived here now. Why on earth would I make the decision to come here, I have no idea. But, I guess this was what I had been doing.

The whole Avengers team, and Phil's team were standing in the room. Including Greeny. I look back at Phil, who nodded me forward. He was the only one I was positive I could trust, even though he had this weird story about how he had been stabbed through the chest by Greeny and had died, but was just dandy now. I don't know what he was on, but it must have been strong.

"How are you feeling?" I look at Greeny, who had spoken.

"Like I've been in a coma." I say sarcastically before I can stop myself. Instead of getting a sad look like I had gotten yesterday from him, I got a half smile. I hear a laugh, and I turn to see Stark smiling.

"Well at least she didn't lose her sarcasm. Now that would have been tragic." He jokes, and I smile. I see movement out of the corner of my eye, and I turn in time to be hugged strongly by a red head woman in formal business dress. I stiffen, and I look to Phil for help.

"Sophie, I'm so glad you're here. I was terrified about how long you were in the hospital!" She finally lets go slightly, and I recognize her.

"You're Pepper Potts!" I say suddenly. "Tony's girlfriend, right?" The smile on her face drops for a second, before a obviously fake one replaces it.

"Yeah." She says. I see her eyes fill with tears. Crap. I must have met her before. I didn't know! I didn't mean to hurt her...

"I... I'm sorry..." I whisper. I see everyone staring at me, like they're waiting for me to say something. Something that I might have said if I still had my memories. I needed to get out of here. I couldn't take the pressure. "I'm... I'm hungry." I said, spitting out the first thing that came out of my mouth. "I'll be right back." I quickly walk towards the kitchen door and enter, going straight for the pantry. Who put my favorite chips on the top shelf? After a brief struggle, I get them down and head for the door back out to the living room. I almost push the door open when I hear voices on the other side.

"I.. I didn't expect... Tony, she looked at me like she had never seen me before!" That was Pepper, sounding like she was crying.

"Pepper, we warned you." Steve says.

"Yes.. but I didn't...."

"Bruce, why are you smiling?" That was Greeny's voice. There is a second of silence.

"Because no one told her where the kitchen was." How... How did I know where the kitchen was? Silence follows, and I can't stand it and walk through the door, acting like I hadn't heard a thing.

"You said I live here, correct?" I ask, walking out and looking at Coulson. He nods. "Then what sort of sicko's are you?" I ask, taking everyone in the room off guard. "My favorite chips were on the top shelf of the pantry in there. I had to climb to get these! Is it some sort of joke I don't get? Cause you do not mess with short women unless you want to be burned. And I can actually burn you." There is a split second of silence before all of the Avengers are laughing, including Greeny and Pepper. "What?"

"It's... It's nothing." Tony says through a fit of laughter.

"Just a good memory." Clint says, before realizing what he had spoken. They all get quiet.

"Well?" I ask.

"Well what?" Steve asks.

"Is anyone going to tell me about this memory that made you all laugh, or am I just going to be kept in the dark about my own past?" there are another few seconds of silence before Tony cracks a smile.
